Para esta ocasión estamos visitando el famoso cerro de Monserrate, muy visitado entre turistas y habitantes de la ciudad de Bogotá, Colombia, tiene una altura de 3.100 metros sobre el nivel de mar aproximadamente, cuenta con un camino peatonal donde puedes hacer ejercicio de subir o bajar en compañía de tus amigos, familia, etc. También cuenta con un teleférico, y un tren subterráneo que eventualmente te deja gozar de una vista hermosa desde su cabina.

Yo subí la montaña caminando fue un recorrido de aproximadamente 1 hora y media subiendo a un ritmo mas o menos rápido, en su camino hay escalones un poco estrechos y es un poco empinado, en ocasiones hay que tener mucho cuidado en pisar bien y mantener el ritmo, una vez que llegamos a la cúspide, nos encontramos con un hermoso mirador que nos muestra toda la ciudad de Bogotá, muy bonito para disfrutarlo en familia, con amigos y hasta con pareja ya que se dice que los novios también suben a pedir deseos juntos.
En el cerro de Monserrate también puedes encontrar locales comerciales de comida algunos restaurantes, cafeterías, dulcerías, etc. También encuentras un pasillo repleto de venta de artesanía Colombiana, regalos de viajeros, ruanas, té, café, entre muchas otras cosas que son muy típicas de Colombia y sobre todo de esta zona andina.
Hay otro mirador en la parte de atrás donde podeos ver las montañas y sus alrededores, la verdad es una vista muy bonita, puedes gozarla con una taza de café o chocolate caliente, con una silla y mirando el paisaje, creo que te acabo de dar una idea genial para relajarte meditar y disfrutar de esta hermosa maravilla que rodea el oriente de la ciudad.
Yo me la pase muy bien me tome un café calientito en la cúspide la esta montaña que siendo un lugar bastante frio.
