El popular circo de "Los Valentinos" está ahora en la ciudad de "El Tigre", así que tuvimos la oportunidad de asistir a una de sus funciones.
Ya han pasado unos 10 años, aproximadamente, desde la ultima vez que fuimos, para ese entonces, vivíamos en Lechería. Mis hijos apenas recuerdan esa ocasión, porque eran pequeños.
Las entradas para mayores de 13 costaban 15 USD y en muchos colegios ellos regalaron tickets para los menores de 13, con la condición de que fueran acompañados por un adulto.
Fuimos a la función del domingo de carnaval y yo erróneamente pensé que iría poca gente, pero para mi sorpresa, la cola para entrar era muy larga y no tan sólo eso, sino que cuando logramos entrar, el lugar ya estaba lleno, por lo que asumo que la mayoría llegó lo suficientemente temprano.
The popular circus of “Los Valentinos” is now in the city of “El Tigre”, so we had the opportunity to attend one of their shows.
It has been about 10 years, approximately, since the last time we went, at that time, we lived in Lechería. My children barely remember that occasion, because they were small.
Tickets for children over 13 cost 15 USD and in many schools they gave away tickets for children under 13, with the condition that they were accompanied by an adult.
We went to the Carnival Sunday performance and I mistakenly thought that there would be few people, but to my surprise, the line to get in was very long and not only that, but when we did get in, the place was already full, so I assume that most of them arrived early enough.
Para nuestra fortuna, la fila para pagar las entradas con divisas (USD) era más corta, aunque pensé inicialmente adquirirlas con bolívares, preferí hacerlo con dólares en efectivo, porque de lo contrario, entraríamos tarde a la función.
Me sorprendió la cantidad de personas que había y el entusiasmo que mostraban, cuando hubo el anuncio de que comenzaría la función. El público presente gritaba a toda garganta, tal como si se tratara de la presentación de un cantante famoso, de hecho, le dije a mi hija, ni que fuera Chayanne 😍.
En la ciudad de Lechería, los asistentes son menos expresivos, por decirlo de alguna manera😅.
Fortunately for us, the line to pay for the tickets with foreign currency (USD) was shorter, although I initially thought to buy them with bolivars, I preferred to do it with dollars in cash, because otherwise, we would be late for the show.
I was surprised by the amount of people there and the enthusiasm they showed, when there was the announcement that the show would start, the audience was screaming at the top of their lungs, just as if it was the presentation of a famous singer, in fact, I told my daughter, not even if it was Chayanne 😍.
In Lechería city, the assistants are less expressive, to say the least😅.
Disfruté mucho la algarabía presente durante toda la función, me encantaba ver a todos felices viviendo al máximo la experiencia que ofrecen "Los Valentinos" en su divertido espectáculo.
En el gif que coloco a continuación, que hice a partir de un video propio, con edición en Canva, se puede observar cómo estaba de concurrida la función a la que fuimos y es una lástima que los gif no admiten sonido, porque las risas y los gritos llenaban el espacio. En realidad era algo impresionante.
I enjoyed very much the excitement present during the whole show, I loved to see everyone happy living to the fullest the experience offered by “Los Valentinos” in their fun show.
In the gif below, which I made from my own video, edited in Canva, you can see how crowded the show we went to was and it's a pity that the gifs do not support sound, because the laughter and screams filled the space. It was really something impressive.
En ese momento, la dinámica era jugar con unas grandes pelotas inflables, que lanzaron al público quienes dirigían el espectáculo... Y sí que dio resultado, todos parecíamos niños intentando alcanzar la pelotas para hacerla rebotar al aire.
Poco después, le comenté a mi hija que es increíble que una dinámica tan simple causará tan buen efecto, que muchas veces los seres humanos no necesitamos de grandes cosas para divertirnos y que una buena disposición a hacerlo, ayuda mucho.
Mientras tanto, el escenario estaba siendo preparado para el próximo número.
At that time, the dynamic was to play with big inflatable balls, which were thrown to the audience by the people who were directing the show.... And it really worked, we all looked like children trying to reach the balls to bounce them in the air.
Shortly after, I commented to my daughter that it is incredible that such a simple dynamic could cause such a good effect, that many times human beings do not need big things to have fun and that a willingness to do so, helps a lot.
In the meantime, the stage was being set for the next issue.
Una de las presentaciones más interesantes, es la de los cuatro acróbatas en motos, recorriendo simultáneamente la parte interior de una esfera de rejas de metal. También lo es la del hombre bala, lanzado por un cañón y la de los equilibristas de los trapecios en las alturas.
One of the most interesting presentations is that of the four acrobats on motorcycles, simultaneously riding the inside of a sphere of metal bars. So is that of the bullet man, launched by a cannon, and that of the trapeze artists on trapezes in the heights.
Sin embargo, fueron las más simples, como la del juego con pelotas y una en la que el anfitrión del espectáculo le indicaba a "supuestas personas del público" un baile que debían imitar, las que provocaron más risas esa tarde.
Al final, el valentino que estuvo a cargo de dirigir la función, se colocó una franela de nuestra selección Vinotinto y se proyectó en la pantalla la bandera de mi querido país Venezuela, mientras mencionaba el amor que ellos tienen a nuestra tierra. Eso me hizo sentir conmovida.
However, it was the simplest ones, such as the game with balls and one in which the host of the show indicated to “supposed people from the audience” a dance that they should imitate, that caused the most laughter that afternoon.
At the end, the Valencian who was in charge of directing the show, put on a T-shirt of our Vinotinto national team and projected on the screen the flag of my beloved country Venezuela, while mentioning the love they have for our land. That made me feel moved.
Realmente fue una grata vivencia, nos llevamos un gran recuerdo y sé que para el equipo de "Los Valentinos" fue una experiencia significativa, porque en todos los años que tengo, nunca había visto un público tan entusiasta como el que estaba allí y esa es la mejor recompensa, para quienes viven de los aplausos.
No estoy muy segura, pero estimo que la función duró alrededor de una hora y media. Cuando salimos ya era de noche y había una larga cola de las personas que entrarían para la siguiente. No llegué a ver donde terminaba, de lo extensa que era.
It was really a pleasant experience, we took with us a great memory and I know that for the team of “Los Valentinos” it was a significant experience, because in all the years that I have, I had never seen an audience as enthusiastic as the one that was there and that is the best reward for those who live on applause.
I am not quite sure, but I estimate that the show lasted about an hour and a half. When we left it was already dark and there was a long line of people who would enter for the next one. I didn't get to see where it ended because it was so long.
