The hierarchy and discrimination experienced by Lee Yeo-Reoum while working as an employee at a publishing company. The fatigue of the work pressure as well as the verbal sexual violence committed by her boss made Lee Yeo Reoum decide to quit and move from the crowded city of Seoul to a coastal village called Angok.
Arriving in the unfamiliar village of Angok, Yeo Reoum chooses a place to live that is not so decent, namely a building that used to be a worn-out billiard hall. In the past, there were murders and suicides in the building, which caused the billiard business to go bankrupt. He let himself live in an inadequate place just because the monthly rent was very cheap.
Apart from the cheap rent, the building Yeo Reoum rented was also very close to the ngok village library which was very quiet. Only two or three people were regular visitors at the library, so Yeo Reoum's thought of filling her spare time at the library while still being unemployed was definitely the right choice. In addition, it was there that Lee Yeo Reoum met other important figures such as Ahn Dae Beom, as well as Kim Bom.

- CHARACTERISTICS
Lee Yeo Reum (Kim Seol-Hyun)
A hardworking character with good interpersonal intelligence, as seen from the way Lee Yeo Reum is able to approach new people in her new environment in Angok. Yeo Reum's character development from beginning to end, does not change much, Yeo Reum remains a good character who is optimistic and relaxed. Kim Seol-Hyun is able to portray her character well.
Ahn Dae-Boem (Yim Si-Wan)
A math genius who felt betrayed by his professor in college, Dae-Beom gave up on his education and chose a life of leisure as a librarian in his home village of Angok. Ahnk Dae-Beom was quiet and became the idol of the children around the library. It is said that Dae Beom grew up with a dark past and made himself a person who tends to be closed, even Dae Beom is a character who cannot talk to new people he knows. Yim Si-wan who does have a coohl face type is right for playing a quiet man like Ahn Dae-Beom.
- INTERPRETATION
In the era of the onslaught of science fiction, fantasy and complicated household dramas, Summer Strike comes like a medicine. A spectacle that can also be a nutritional intake for mental health for its audience. Spectacles with story lines that can make emotional support tables like this rarely get more attention. I also find it difficult to find similar themes.
Summer Strike is the type of show that you can enjoy while taking a break and not make your brain think too much, because you just enjoy while relating all the little things that happen in this series to the life around us.
Slice of life tends to be close to what's happening around us. While watching Summer Strike, we also feel part of the villagers of Angok. With a small neighborhood where all the residents know each other, it makes us who are busy with activities in the city feel a little medicated and feel like we are taking a break in a small, quiet village.b
