Today I want to share with you another one of my crafts, this time it's a woven potholder that will adorn my kitchen.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes otra de mis manualidades, en esta ocasión es un portaforeras tejido que adornará mi cocina.

Next I will show you the materials I used and step by step how I was elaborating this craft.
Materials used:
- Yellow and white yarn.
- Crochet knitting needles.
- Large sewing needle.
- Scissors.
También quiero mostrarles, un pequeño balance sobre las ganancias que he obtenido gracias a la modesta delegación que ofrecí a esta comunidad .
A continuación les mostraré los materiales que utilicé y paso a paso como fui elaborando esta manualidad.
Materiales Utilizados:
- Hilo estambre amarillo y blanco.
- Agujas de tejer crochet.
- Aguja grande de coser.
- Tijeras.
To begin my craft, the first thing I did was to make some chains with the yellow yarn, which I joined together, forming a circle. Starting from this base, I made the necessary stitches to complete the body of the case.
Para comenzar mi manualidad lo primero que hice fue unas cadenetas con el estambre amarillo, la cual uní, formando un círculo. Partiendo de esta base, elaboré los puntos necesarios hasta completar el cuerpo del estuche.
I went on to knit the bottom of the case using the white worsted yarn. I started with a magic ring and then added the rest of the stitches until I got the desired background.
Pasé a tejer el fondo del estuche utilizando el hilo blanco de estambre. Comencé con un anillo mágico y, después, fui añadiendo los demás puntos hasta obtener el fondo deseado.
Having the two pieces ready, we join the bottom to the body using the sewing needle and the white thread. We make small stitches to ensure that it will be well fixed.
Teniendo listas las dos piezas paso a unir el fondo al cuerpo utilizando la aguja de coser y el hilo blanco. Realizamos pequeñas puntadas para asegurar que quedara bien fijado.
Embellish the body of the case with the same white thread and sewing needle. Inspired by the heraldic cross that identifies the healer of light, I created a decorative pattern.
Adorne el cuerpo del estuche con el mismo hilo blanco y la aguja de coser. Inspirada en la cruz heráldica que identifica a la sanadora de la luz, creé un patrón decorativo.
To finish the decoration, cut a strand of white thread and weave it through the upper part of the case, making a bow on the front of the case.
Para terminar con la decoración, corte una hebra del hilo blanco y lo entrelaza por la parte superior del estuche elaborando posteriormente un lazo en la parte del frente del estuche.
