I have been trying to hit the gym consistently for some time now but it seems that I am far from ever making it happen.
For one it is not my fault as the distance between me and the only functioning gym in my city is too far-fetched already. Of course, it's a shame that such an important industry isn't thriving in my city. But when it comes to bars, hotels and all, they are scattered around.
This got me thinking about how we humans make choices and the type of society and community we've created with those choices. It is not a coincidence that we have more hotels than fitness centres because that is what the people demand and whenever there's a demand then surely there would be a supply.
No wonder more people are getting fat and calling it healthy eating. I honestly do not have much idea about how the economy works but when it comes to human choices we seem to be more about comfort and what brings us quick fixes than what can sustain us in the long run.
I would've loved to keep hitting the gym even with the distance but with the present situation of the country I dont think I can be able to do that regardless home workout is always there for me whenever I need it.
