Kirara's cuts/ Las cortadas de Kirara

When we have pets we never lack a surprise, especially when we have more than one, in my case I am about to believe that they agree to make each other race for a specific reason.

A week ago my cat Kirara cut her left paw and chest with the concertina of the perimeter wall of the playground, it was very strong to see the wound of her paw, but you can't imagine the worst part, the wound of her chest was very long and the skin was completely opened.

Now, the matter started on Monday, when I went to my setup to create content and I noticed that the pink cushion that I have on the chair had blood stains, at first I thought it could be something simpler, but I had noticed that she was in a very bad mood.

When I managed to get a little closer to her, I saw that she got up and I noticed in her left paw a very deep, straight and open wound, also when I tried to lift her and take her by the chest she was complaining of pain and grunting, at that moment we presumed that she had been hit.

For all of the above, I immediately contacted the vet who told me to take her for consultation the next day first thing in the morning, and there we confirmed what we suspected, the cat had cut herself with the concertina of the perimeter wall, for those who do not know what I mean and for not having taken a picture here I leave a link with a referential image.

The wounds were straight, clean and very deep, as I mentioned the most impressive one was on her chest, which I could see after she was anesthetized to suture it, because you could see the inside of her chest, I imagine you will ask how we know what happened with that, first because the day before the cut, we had seen her walking around there, secondly, we had seen her walking around there, secondly, we had seen her walking around there, and then we could see the inside of her chest, We had seen her walking around, secondly the cut of her straight wounds confirmed it and thirdly she is a little clumsy to jump and do some things so we believe that either she is an old kitty or she suffered from some blow that prevents her from having more agility and enjoyment of her hind legs.

So we have spent this week fighting with her to give her the pain medication, to inject her the antibiotic and tolerating her bad mood, but everything is for her to recover 100 %, her wounds already look dry and we have left her a few minutes without the Elizabethan collar so she can groom herself a little and avoid her to get depressed.

Cuando tenemos animales de compañía nunca falta una sorpresa, sobre todo cuando tenemos más de uno, en mi caso estoy por creer que se ponen de acuerdo para hacerse dar alguna carrera por algún motivo específico.

Hace una semana mi gata Kirara se cortó la pata izquierda y el pecho con la concertina de la pared perimetral del parque infantil, fue muy fuerte ver la herida de su pata, pero no se imaginan la peor parte, la herida de su pecho era muy larga y se había abierto por completo la piel.

Ahora bien, el asunto comenzó el lunes, cuando me dirigí a mi setup para crear contenido y note que el cojín rosado que tengo sobre la silla tenía manchas de sangre, al comienzo creí que podía tratarse de algo más sencillo, pero si había notado que ella tenía muy mal humor.

Cuando logre acercarme un poco más a ella, vi que se levantó y note en su pata izquierda una herida muy profunda, recta y abierta, también que al tratar de levantarla y tomarla por el pecho ella se quejaba de dolor y gruñía, en ese momento presumimos que se había golpeado.

Por todo lo anterior, contacte de inmediato al veterinario quien me indico llevarle a consulta al día siguiente a primera hora, así fue y allí confirmamos lo que sospechábamos la gata se había cortado con la concertina de la pared perimetral, para los que no saben a que me refiero y por no haber tomado una fotografía aquí les dejo un link con una imagen referencial.

Las heridas eran rectas limpias y muy profundas, como ya mencione la más impresionante era de su pecho, la cual pude ver luego de que la anestesiaron para suturarla, pues se le veía el interior de su pecho, me imagino que preguntaran como sabemos que fue con eso, primero porque el día anterior al de la cortada, la habíamos visto caminar por allí, segundo el corte de sus heridas rectas nos lo confirmaba y tercero ella es un poco torpe para saltar y hacer algunas cosas por lo que creemos que o es una gatita vieja o sufrió de algún golpe que le impide tener una mayor agilidad y disfrute de sus patas traseras.

Así esta semana la hemos pasado luchando con ella para darle el medicamento para el dolor, para inyectarle el antibiótico y tolerando su mal humor, pero todo sea para que se recupere al 100, sus heridas ya lucen secas y la hemos dejado algunos minutos sin el collar isabelino para que pueda acicalarse un poco y así evitar que se deprima.
