I've always said that I'm a weirdo, because since I was little I felt different, as if I had passed childhood and adolescence by and I was directly an adult, a weirdo...
A weirdo because I didn't used to like the same outings as my friends, I liked peace and quiet and I didn't like parties, meetings and even less dancing. Besides, I was always treated like a weirdo. I don't dislike it anymore, but it makes me different and I like being different.
My walks are like me, either they call me to strange places or I attract them, I really don't know, but I end up in strange places, discovering surprises, treasures and beauties, even if many of them mean super weird things.
This walk starts in a street where there was supposed to be a path, but the map didn't mention a door. The door was closed so the universe guided me somewhere else, it was a change of plans, but I decided to continue the walk. What I did wonder was where it would lead me.
I looked at the landscapes to my left, full of trees, walls, a neighbourhood with beautiful houses, which I had never walked through before. And I followed my way along that street you see, which seemed to have no way out, but I was wrong.
When I reached the end of the street I came across a very strange house, I think it was as strange as I was, but I was surprised and amazed. It was all made of pieces of glass, bottles and had very strange decorations and shapes.
I looked at my map on my phone and indeed it appeared on the map as a glass mosaic house. It took up a whole corner and on one side there was a staircase that led to an outside corridor that went behind the house. I didn't go through it because I was more interested in paying attention to this wonderful and strange house.

I tried to walk around it completely, focusing on different points of view and zooming in with my camera phone, but without losing the quality of the photo.
The crystals generated different designs and shapes that made me wonder who would live there.
You could say that the house was completely made of mosaics and crystals, crammed with them as if it were in a baroque style, but with strange crystals. I had never seen anything like it and I stayed there for a long time admiring it. One of the most psychedelic treasures I have ever encountered.
And all because there was a closed door on the path I wanted to walk and that made me change my course. Thanks to that I found this rarity.
I said goodbye to that house that looked like me, it was really very strange and I followed the path through a narrow street that showed me very old buildings.
Without looking for it, I ended up in a kind of small neighbourhood with internal streets not frequented by cars, with their flowerpots at the entrances of the flats or houses and I walked along some of its streets.

This led me to something that appeared on the map as Plazuela Cristo del amor. I always say that the map has been my great friend since I arrived in Spain... what would I do without it... get lost, and that has happened to me several times, then I find myself.
A bench came out to meet me at the entrance of the Victoria Church and a small space between the vegetation let me see part of the building of this beautiful sanctuary.
This tower greeted me as I wanted to enter from the back, the church car park which is not always open. On this occasion it was.

I know I am starting to say hello to plants, but when I see nature I can't help myself.
Today's walk ends at a small roundabout before starting a path to a forest park. This small roundabout has beautiful flowers and bushes surrounding a sculpture belonging to Father Manuel Gámez.
It has been a very interesting walk, I love it when these things happen to me, I get to know the city better and I am surprised at every step.
Thank you very much for joining me on this walk, I send you all a big hello. See you soon.
Amonet.
