Soft clay or air dry clay became a new hype among kids. They are not into slime anymore but clay. And I like it because it's less messy and kids can be more creative with it.

Recently I bought a few boxes of clay for my little one. For the past few days, all he has been doing is making random things with clay. But these figures are some of the best that we made at the beginning.

Let me share our clay adventure.

This was our first time trying the less greasy soft clay. I loved the texture. We searched on YT about some DIY. But everything looks either hard or not my son's favorite.

We thought to make Spider-Man man but that seemed so hard. So I gave him the idea of making among us as they always seem easy to draw. Also, I found Hulk, Batman, etc on YT and followed the tutorials. You can find thousands of tutorials on YT, can easily make any sculpture :)

    The Incredible Hulk!

Start with making the heard first. Take the green clay, make a ball, take the black clay, and gradually make the hair. Then add the eyes, nose, and mouth; then the rest of the figure.

We took a plastic board to reshape the clay. The clay box comes with some sculpturing tools as well, using them was also helping a lot.

Make the pants and place the figure in a stick or you can make it without the stick.

I helped my son make the pants as the clay needed to be very thin. The tutorial he was following had hands and legs, everything. But as a first-timer, he found it hard to make so I let him do what how he wanted to make it.

    Among us!

Making among us seemed easy. Make a round dough and cut the lower portion in half to make the legs.

Then make the eyes part with sky-blue clay. I helped my son make the black border around the eyes. And I made the yellow zombie one but it didn't turn out great.

This is how they turned out. My son was too excited to see his creations and was busy the whole day playing with them.

I made this Yellow Daisy. Although, one petal got ripped, didn't it turn out cute on my first attempt?

It was fun. We had so much talk over the figures, how we can make them good, and shape them properly. I loved the quality time we spent together.

Moreover, playing with something that he made himself gave him a sense of accomplishment; I can tell.

If you haven't made anything or played with clay dough, I suggest you do it, if possible with your little one. It's really fun making some mini masterpieces!
