Today I want to share my journey #IncredibleBangla. I am going to visit a historical place today. It is a historical place of Bangladesh named Mujibnagar. In this journey, I will explore about Bangladesh Liberation War and the Mujibnagar Memorial. It is a historical place where the Government of Bangladesh was formed on 10 April 1971 for the independence of Bangladesh. The Liberation War Memorial Complex has been built here to preserve the tradition of the first government and the history of a war for an independent country.
In today's post I will share about Meherpur City is on the way to Mujibnagar. I captured some photos of the city. Also about my journey to the memorial.
My journey started on a foggy day with temperatures around 15 degrees Celsius which is the coldest day we've had here.First, Started with this vehicle locally named Auto and then took a bus to Meherpur...
Now we go to Gangni by auto. Because our small town here is Gangni, since we will go to Meherpur from Gangni, we reach Gangni in the morning. Then we wait for the bus. When the bus comes, we board the bus and start the journey...
After we boarded the bus, the bus continued at its own pace. We saw many things from inside the bus and outside. On the way to Shamar we saw a river. The name of this river is Kajala river. The river was very beautiful but we only saw it from the bus and could not get down there. We see many fields where farmers are growing different crops. We were moving towards Meherpur...
Then finally we came to the unfamiliar city of Meherpur. Actually, it was very nice to see the city of Meherpur from me. Because I have come here very little and as a result I don't know much about this city. We explored this Meherpur city and saw how the city looks like the houses and the environment. Then I saw a square box in the middle of the main road. It looked very beautiful where the name of our creator Allah Subhana Taala was written. Then we saw the gate of Meherpur which was very big and very beautiful. Then we left for Mujibnagar...
After that we left for Mujibnagar. We walked to Mujibnagar because where we got down there is no Mujibnagar car available Mujibnagar car is available in front so we were going there walking and finally we got a Mujibnagar car. We asked the driver Mujibnagar. How much will it cost to go? He said 40 taka/0.40$/1 Hive. After that we left for Mujibnagar in that car. Finally we reached Mujibnagar area about two hours from Meherpur. In the next episode I will show the beauty of Mujibnagar.
That's it for today! You made it to the end of this post. I appreciate your time and attention. Hope you like it.
