¡Hola Chicos!
El día de hoy quiero mostrarles una linda maceta que pinté a mano. Esta forma parte de un pequeño proyecto en el que quiero pintar y personalizar diferentes objetos.
Son 6 macetas que quedaron del evento Convinarte que hicimos en el vivero, y yo quise adquirirlas para poder personalizarlas y posteriormente venderlas.
Estoy en una etapa en la que quiero pintar todos los días para ganar mayor habilidad y tener práctica. El pintar estás macetas me ayuda a tener algo para hacer y practicar diversas técnicas.
Días antes había estado guardando imágenes de inspiración y encontré este diseño me llamó mucho la atención por los colores que tenía. Por suerte tenía todos esos tonos así que me puse manos a obra.

Today I want to show you a nice flower pot that I painted by hand. This is part of a small project in which I want to paint and customize different objects.
They are 6 pots that were left over from the Convinarte event we did at the nursery, and I wanted to acquire them in order to personalize them and later sell them.
I am at a stage where I want to paint every day to gain more skill and practice. Painting these pots helps me to have something to do and practice various techniques.
Days before I had been saving images for inspiration and I found this design that caught my attention because of the colors it had. Luckily I had all those tones so I got to work.
Lo primero que hice fue hacer un tono claro con un poco de blanco y naranja, apenas una pisquita.
Lo apliqué en la parte de arriba del matero y marcando un grosor de unos 3 centímetros.
The first thing I did was to make a light tone with a little white and orange, just a little bit.
I applied it on the top of the matero and marking a thickness of about 3 centimeters.
Una vez el blanco secó por completo, pinté el área turquesa, trazando con el pincel en las uniones de color unas olas.
Once the white was completely dry, I painted the turquoise area, tracing waves with the brush in the color joints.
Luego apliqué el azul rey, también haciendo olas. No importaba que fueran perfectas, pero si el que estuvieran bien cubiertas las capas.
Then I applied the king blue, also making waves. It didn't matter that they were perfect, but that the layers were well covered.
Finalmente terminé con un tono morado pero la verdad es que era muy semejante al azul rey y apenas podía notarse está capa.
Así que me tocó oscurecerlo un poco de negro y así logré un tono que si se notaba con el resto.
Finally I ended up with a purple tone but the truth is that it was very similar to king blue and you could hardly notice this layer.
So I had to darken it a little bit with black and so I achieved a tone that was noticeable with the rest.
También pinté la base, aunque técnicamente esto no se verá una vez tenga una planta en su interior. Pero igual es importante cuidar esos detalles.
I also painted the base, although technically this will not be seen once I have a plant inside. But it is still important to take care of those details.
Utilizando algunas pinturas en tonos más claros o más oscuros que los ultizados, hice varias plantas alrededor de la maceta.
Finalmente aplique el color negro para hacer los últimos detalles. Al secar ya podía darle vuelta.
Using some paints in lighter or darker tones than the last ones, I made several plants around the pot.
Finally I applied the black color to make the last details. When it dried I could turn it over.
Así quedó lista la maceta, la verdad bien colorida y además llamativa. Los colores quedaron bastante brillantes y lo más importante, disfrute un montón en hacerla.
En esta pintura utilicé pinturas al frío que quedan muy bien en este tipo de proyecto.
Ahora me quedan 5 macetas por pintura y la verdad aún no me decido si las voy a vender vacías o si mejor les coloco una planta en su interior.
Tengo varias candidatas que quedaría bien y así puede motive más a las personas a comprarlas. Ya les iré contando.

This is how the pot turned out, it was really colorful and eye-catching. The colors were quite bright and most importantly, I had a lot of fun making it.
In this painting I used cold paints that look great in this type of project.
Now I have 5 pots left to paint and I still haven't decided if I am going to sell them empty or if I should put a plant inside them.
I have several candidates that would look good and this way I can motivate people to buy them. I will let you know.
