Hi everyone, Today I want to share my new digital. It was something new for me.
I used Krita as software and Huion H610PROV2 drawing tablet for this/
Here are the step wise photos.
First reference lines to see proportions and placement of different elements. Tried to use basic shapes to make this drawing.
Then I made the drawing on a new layer using those foundation lines as guiding lines. Now this really helped to get the proportions well.
I wanted it to look more virant and colourful instead of realistic so first I filled in colours and blended it with a ear bud brush. I didn't knew how it would turn out. it was all an experiment but apparently it turned out well.
See colours blended really well, then added yellow colour for highlights. I did all the blending with that ear bud.
Let me show you guys the background so this all makes sense.
I made the clouds using a texture brush by making pathes with it over an entire blue background. The little shadows on right is what really looked good to me. For the moon used a brush that made really dark value at the centre in a circular and lighter values around it. So tweaking it a bit gave this moon and that very small area around it with luminosity.
Now back to hands.
Here is the almost final hand drawing some colours here and there to make up for background. Colours are blended so well. Now the final result.
Now merging both layers.
I consider this as final result. There is another version which I liked.
Here the moonlight isn't so bright and hence the hands also looked quite textury.
Both looks good to me for trying something new.
