We visited this place a few months ago. My sister-in-law's college classmate invited us to go to her hometown in Nueva Ecija, Philippines.
She brought us here in Minalungao National Park. I so love the endless limestone rock formations and the green pristine waters of the Sumacbao river.

Minalungao’s name was derived from a conjunction of the words mina and lungao, or mine of gold in caves. While there may not be mines of gold in the cave in Minalungao, it remains as Nueva Ecija’s best-kept secret. It was established in 1967 by virtue of Republic Act No. 5100. The park is considered one of the few remaining natural environments in this region north of Manila. It is promoted by the local government as an ecotourism destination offering breath-taking scenery of green pristine river and unique rock formations(Source:https://businessmirror.com.ph)

This is the hotel just beside the river. It's called Minalungao Green Hotel. I kept forgetting the name of the place for it's the first time I've heard of this place.

This is the beautiful river with floating nipa huts that used to cater tourists and visitors. You can rent these huts while eating and swimming on the river.

We arrived here around past 1pm and the sun was really very hot. I took a video and could not even see myself on my phone. I just aimed the phone at us without knowing if it came out well. Hahaha
I have to cover my face with my hands to see my phone.

Sadly the park is closed now due to some local government issues. I hope they will open it again for it is indeed a paradise. There are so many things you can do here. A lot of vloggers come here and take drone videos of this awesome natural wonder for it is surrounded with mountains and acres of trees and vegetation, no people. The vast mountains of the Sierra Madres. Before we arrived here we have to drive for more than an hour up the mountains. So I get to see the beauty of this place.

Hope you enjoyed this place too.
