2025 is not yet over but from the way things are going, I think we've already gotten the word of the year, and it's "Tariffs" , Trump's favorite word, well his fourth favorite word after the media criticized him for saying Tariffs is his first favorite.

In 2020, the word of the year was COVID, in 2022, the word of the year was Russia-Ukraine War and now we've got everyone talking about tariffs the same way they talked about COVID and Russia.

There are people that side with Donald Trump on this decision and there are those that don't.

A recent video of Trump leaked where we saw the president in an office with a couple of billionaires, and he was talking about how much money those billionaires have made with the changes and the stock market getting shaky recently.

Yes, he's proud of what he has done because it has further empowered and enriched his friends but what happens to the rest of the country and as a matter of fact, the entire world.

Donald Trump had a word with Tim cook, the CEO of Apple and they have made a decision to invest billions into establishing their factory in the United States which according to him, would never have happened if Trump wasn't president.

Trump had a meeting with Tim Cook and called him Tim Apple, lol.

The prospect and future benefits of the tariffs to America is undeniable. It would certainly get more companies to establish their base in America, making America more self dependent but at what cost?

I wanted to use this article to point out the obvious. Whenever a tariff is imposed on a country, it's not the foreign country that suffers but the people of the country that imposes the tariffs.

If America hits China with a Tariff, Chinese companies that export goods to America will add the Tariff fee which is basically another form of taxes, to the exported goods. After shipment and taxes, the cost of the product will rise based on how much tariff was added.

Who pays for all of that? You the final consumer. So whether you're excited about tariffs or not, everyone's going to pay for it.

America hits China with tariffs, China responds back with their own tariffs, then America raises the tariff in response to China's move, then China raises their tariffs as well. What we get, is nothing but the same products being more expensive.

The people in both nations suffer more just because of the decisions of their elected leaders. Yes, you could argue that the tariffs is going to help and you may be right in some ways but regardless of how much benefit you think it brings, the end results is always going to be the consumers paying the price.

This is a wake up call to every nation on earth. If you depend too much on one country, they can screw you over anytime.

China's analyst, Victor Gao made it very clear to Trump and America that China has been in existence for 5000 plus years and for the most part, it didn't need America to thrive. They can do without whatever benefit they get from America. And they're not afraid of America.

They say, no nation is truly fully independent to a point where they don't need other nations, and yes while that's the truth, I think it's about time for nations to seek full reliance on themselves and their people. It's the only way to guarantee that dump shit like this doesn't happen again.
