Hey, and Merry Christmas!🎅
A lot of people in the community thought the drop in rewards was due to the increase in shiny decks, but the real reason for the farming decline is much simpler — the weekly format with Divine Order and the +50% shards boost.
Why didn’t previous formats affect rewards, or why wasn’t their impact as noticeable?
Divine Order cards = cards from popular aggro decks, like Zoowar. This archetype is still dominating, alongside Death. Check out this summary from @imx.center
- They're easy to manage and straightforward.
- Fast-paced games
- Cheap cards
So basically, everyone who had shiny decks (or even if they didn’t) had these cards available, and they just went on farming $GODS in the formats instead of Ranked. In past formats, it was mostly the veterans playing with a variety of cards. Newer players mostly built aggro decks. But hey, I could be wrong, I just recently started playing GU and keeping tabs on the scene.
20% of the challenge is done.
Here’s how my deck looks right now:
Сurrent rank: 11
Not planning any major changes, and for the past few weeks, I’ve been playing with one foot in, usually multitasking with something else, like cooking dinner 😄
There’s still about 10 months to go, and I need to farm around 562 $GODS per month at the planned price of $3.6. But guys, I’m not planning to cash out a huge chunk of coins at that price. Why that is, and what my goals are, I’ll share sometime later, probably in early 2025.
Gl to all of us, and stay hungry 🍀
