My Actifit Report Card: April 8 2024

    Starting off the week under the orange lights feeling good after getting through Saturday's running event unscathed is more than priceless.

    Orangetheory Fitness is having their annual Dri-Tri series coming up and it's my wife Tiffany and I have participated as individuals and in a team relay in the past and honestly the last few years we haven't felt completely physically invested to go at it again. We are considering doing the sprint in the future as that would have been the only heat we haven't done. The sprint is half of what the full one.

    With all that said, today was the Infinity Signature Workout and that no one escapes doing if you should up for the session which we did and it's basically a taste of what the Dri-Tri is. Not the full heat but enough to entice those that haven't participated in or tempt those who have participated in it in the past.

    Tiffany and I got through today's workout pretty well. Tiffa is having a tougher time recently so the fact that she went in and got it done is definitely a major pride moment. She will take off the next couple of days as she has routinely taken the two days she goes into the office as her rest days so she doesn't feel rushed when we get back home from working out.

    I burned 710 calories, rowed 2,623 meters proud moment of the day when I hit a high of 489 WATTS OF POWER at a 14 mile per hour rowing speed (it's been over month since I hit those highs), On the treads, I totaled 1.65 miles all running and I kept my speeds moderate by only hitting 8.5 miles per hour on the last ALL OUT.

    Today was a 3G, so that means that we spend less time at each station than the normal 2G where we run for a lot more time.

    Today's Workout Recap

    Row Block - 14 minutes

    • Reset monitor
    • Repeat until last minute:
      • 100 meter ALL OUT row
      • 20 x medicine ball power jacks
      • Each round take 2 off the rep count down to 2 reps and then back up again
    • 1 minute ALL OUT row
    • Record distance (I had an underwhelming 1900 meters and way off my personal record, but today was about just getting through the signature workout in tact)

    ALL BODY WEIGHT/NO DUMBBELLS

    Floor Block - 14 minutes circuit
