The contribution of parents in the life of every child is a unique blessing. The foundation of our early education and values is built on the love of that mother and the ideals of the father. But sometimes, due to various reasons in life, the absence of one or both of them can occur, which can have a different impact on each family. In some cases, absence may mean a delay in learning something, while in other cases, that absence creates a special void mentally and emotionally. However, the question remains - will the future of a child be different even if one is absent? Or, does it actually depend on how the child is given guardianship, education and emotional support in life?
An experience from my personal life clearly highlights this point. By the grace of God, I grew up in contact with my parents since childhood. But to be honest, in my life, I received more love and care from my mother. My father was a private employee and due to the nature of his work, he had to stay in different places in the country. Sometimes, even if the time spent with him was as short as 7 days or 1 month, he was an ideal in my life. His dedication to his career, struggle and outlook on life have taught me to be who I am today.
It is clear from this experience that even if one is missing, it is possible to create the foundation of quality and ideals in life. On the other hand, if both parents are present at every stage of life and play complementary roles to each other, a different dimension is added to the child's mental and social development. With the combination of both, there is a possibility of better understanding, good values and rich relationships in the child's life.
However, success in life is not only measured by the number or presence of parents; rather, it is determined by the exchange of that love, education and ideals. If the lack of an absent parent is met with the support of someone else, then that child's future can also have a touch of light. At the same time, if the two are not brought up in a proper and caring way, the child may not develop in the same way.
Therefore, our goal should be to provide all-round support for the mental and physical development of the child. At any stage of life, with love, care and education, every child can build his future beautifully.
