On this #ThreeTuneTuesday I’m doing something different and picking all my tunes from one album! Going to be shining a light on the #BeastieBoys second record 1989’s Paul's Boutique. This in my opinion is like the Pet Sounds (Beach Boys) of there career. Especially after the first record and getting a rep of being frat rap they just went to another level on Paul's Boutique! The 3 albums that followed (1992,1994,1998) were sick records also but Paul's Boutique is just a unique piece of work and beyond being the Pet Sounds of a there career it might just be the Pet Sounds of hip hop for that period!

Who would have predicted that little punk band from years earlier would be the most trying out one of the most important rap albums of all time! No just one of the most important records of all time!

If you aren’t familiar with this record it’s definitely worth listening cover to cover. It’s just a great album all around and the progression from album one to album two is stunning!
