You want to learn how to draw Venom and you can't do it? Don't worry because in this post I will teach you how to do it step by step and in a very simple way. So without anything else to say, let's start with this tutorial.
First I put a circle in the center of my sheet for Venom's head and then I drew a horizontal line below. From this line I shaped a figure that, together with the circle, looked like an inverted letter "p". Then I drew a curve that passed through the center of the circle. At this point, I drew a longer curve that headed downwards, forming the mouth
Seconds later I drew this entire curve above the center and shaped the chin with some lines. I continued drawing the jaw part and continued with the rest of the outline of his head. For the eyes I used the curved line that was above the center as a guide. I drew them in such a way that they started a little wide and ended in an elongated shape. I didn't forget to add those little threads or drools that stuck out of the edges
With that ready, I started drawing the teeth, but first I drew a line for the gum and drew two lines that formed part of the elastic skin when Venom's mouth opened. Minutes later, I worked on the teeth, and this may have been one of the easiest parts for some or the most complicated for others. The way I drew them was by improvising a random pattern of straight teeth and crooked teeth. I drew the teeth one after the other, making sure they were no bigger than the width of the eyes
For the areas where the teeth pointed forward, I drew them so that they looked small or at least their triangular shape was noticeable. For the bottom side, I made the teeth slope downwards, keeping in mind that the teeth on the left were below the ones on the right. I drew the most noticeable tooth I saw and based on that tooth, I followed that path. This tip is helpful if you want your drawing to resemble the reference, but if not, just do it as you see fit, and with patience, you'll get it right. alright
In the end, I kept improvising for this little part and little by little I managed to finish the chapter on how to draw Venom's teeth. You see, I was able to do it, and now he looks too much like Venom. If you drew the teeth, of course you can do the tongue. First, I traced this whole curved line and drew it similarly a little higher.
I added these details and that's it. I drew some lines. for the right shoulder and others for the left shoulder and neck Finally I added a few lines to simulate the texture of the mucus or slime that Venom has
So friends, this is how I drew our friend Venom, everyone's favorite symbiote. This tutorial would end here if it weren't for the fact that I wanted to shade. To shade I used a 2B pencil. I made up and down movements to create uniform shading in the dark parts and of course I shaded the small parts that were between the teeth, under the tongue, under the chin, and also by the gums and eyes
To soften the shading you can use a blending pencil or a piece of toilet paper. I rubbed the blending pencil or the piece of toilet paper in circles, softening everything, and blending it.
And this is how Venom finally turned out. I hope you liked it.
