1 Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
Today, the Lord speaks expressly on having genuine love towards one another, above everything else we have and will ever have.
Since love is above all, it follows that every other thing we have towards people, though important, are nothing if there's no love first.
Brethren, God is love and until we love, we cannot be worshippers of Him.
Let us love without looking back. Let us not wait for people to be nice to us before we love them, for God commended His love towards us when we were still hurting Him with our sons and He has commanded us to do same towards people that hurt us.
This is the love that covers all sins and brought us into the Kingdom to be washed by the blood of Jesus. This same love will help us win others to Christ and that's God's heartbeat.
