Hi, my dear Hive Gardners!
Today there is a small addition to my garden - a few flowers of fritillaria. That's how it turned out. Yesterday my friend asked me to help him move his grandmother from Cherkasy region to Kiev. The whole road there and back is a little more than 600 kilometers (if you count from my house). The trip took us all day.
When we arrived there, we saw a magnificent flowerbed with orange fritillaries. I have fritillaries in my garden, but they are more yellow.
Seeing how I liked the flowers, my friend's grandmother gave me some plants. I was absolutely happy! What a wonderful addition to my garden!
Yesterday I returned home at night and just put the plants in the water. And this morning I started planting them. At first, I wanted to put them all in one place. But then I thought it was better to plant them in different parts of my garden. Fritillaries easily propagate on their own and so I will be able to make several beautiful corners in the garden.
Romashka took an active part in garden work.
I hope that all fritillaries will successfully take root and delight us with early flowering.
