As winter approaches, eating and drinking has its own fun, as winter brings with itself many flavour,
Soft and fluffy, makhan malai is neither butter nor cream as the name suggests, but a soufflé made up of milk foam. What makes it all the more special is the delicate dew of the winter days, which is an one the special dish of winters. These malai makan you will get only in Winters days, if you are in Lucknow city of India, you doesn't tasted the Malai makkan, then your trip is incomplete with it. You must try the malai makkan of Lucknow atleast once.
Malai makhan, also known as other name as malaiyo or nimish, is a Royal flavorful Creamy sweet dessert made from milk cream, treat is created by sweet makers using rich milk, dew drops, saffron, cardamom, pistachio, and rosewater. This creamy butter looks like a mountain but it is very light in weight.
When I went to the chowk, there were 10 to 12 malai makkan sellers standing there. Their cream butter is covered with conical glass from the top,There is a lot of crowd in the chowk chauraha. You cannot click a photo while standing there, so I could not click the photo.
My mouth was watering after seeing this creamy butter. It looked very tasty and when I was standing near it, it smelled of saffron,There is a lot of crowd in the so I packed 250 grams,I will go home and eat comfortably because I will eat quickly in the crowd and I will not be able to taste the flavour. I came to Chowk after a long time to eat malai nakka.

There is 250 grams of cream butter which I got around $4, It was a bit expensive but the quality is very good. It is made from whole milk and saffron.
Although I do not like sugar and there was no additional sugar in this malai makkan, the sweetness of Saffron,milk and Dryfruit.
Then I took malai makkan in a bowl. Took one bite and it seemed as if nothing had gone into the mouth and It disappears as soon as it goes into my mouth, as if it had the texture of the form, it is visible but there is nothing in the weight
but delicious in taste.
When I was coming home with 250 grams, I was feeling that I had packed too much. But when we started eating them, we did not know where 250 grams had gone 😜😁
It was very flavorful and delicious. If I ever get a chance to come to Chowk again, I will definitely take half a kilo with me, 'm love with this Famous sweet of India.,
