Tuburan is a rural area where nature engulfs the municipality, yet a touch of modernity surfaces. They have numerous natural tourist spots, and they never disappoint. It's such a good place to unwind and relax.

    360 TUBURAN

The first place I would introduce to you is the most well-known, 360 Tuburan, in Kibangkalan, Tuburan. A thrilling ride up the mountains, well known for its panoramic view across the region, it offers the serenity of the scenery, the comforting chilly hug of the wind, and full satisfaction for your hunger and comfort.

360 Tuburan offers a fine restaurant, a cozy café, convenient lodging, and a mini-store to maximize and enjoy your stay. There is no entrance fee, just an environmental fee.

    ATABAY PEAK

Just below 360 is the Atabay Peak, which you can climb to better savor the mountain view. Here, you need to be careful as you step on these stones because it truly is kind of spiky. Also, you will hike for about 30 minutes or less, depends on your momentum to reach the top. You can even see 360 Tuburan from there.

The quick sweats and steps from the hike are all worth it when you reach the top. A bird's eye view, calming serenity and peak winds gives it all.

    BLUE HOLE

Going down from the cinematic view of 360, is the tranquility of the azure spring of San Juan Tuburan, the Blue Hole.

Known for its deep riverbed, which reflects its azure surface, and enclosed touch of forestry, Blue Hole relaxes your body's yearning to dip in the water.

It has a friendly entrance fee of 30 pesos, and affordable tables and cottages are available just around the corner. You can rent life jackets or simply sit on the bamboo raft in the center.

You can not only swim and dive, but also swing on the rope attached to the tree in the corner, for better enjoyment.

A quick trivia, when we first went here, I had a conversation with an auntie. She said that the riverbed had not yet been reached by anyone. Also, Blue Hole was featured at Miss Earth 2022 as a highlighted environmental spot. A winner from the event even came back to better experience the place and enjoy it, as she was not able to do so before due to COVID restrictions and the short duration of the event. When we came back here, the auntie told us that the riverbed had been reached and that it was estimated to be 20 meters deep.

    MOLOBOLO

Now, Molobolo is quite a different one. A combination of nature and structure. It has a spring and a pool adjacent to each other, and the sea right by the side.

It's spring is cold and has an eerie ambiance. It's pool is clean! And the sea is just as it is. There are cottages with a videoke at the sides also, for more space and a place to relax.

Those were the places we've been through so far in the municipality of Tuburan.

After a hike and a swim, we stopped by this food court. I loved the food and the placement of the string lights above. It's the perfect place to catch up with friends and enjoy each other's company.

There are many various natural spots you can visit in Tuburan. They are truly rich and cherished by Mother Earth. Right next to 360 Tuburan is the Coffee Capital Farm of Cebu. You can explore it and even handpick coffee there. How amazing is that?

These are just the more common tourist spots in Tuburan; of course, many more await discovery and visits.

The Municipality of Tuburan is surely a gift from nature and a wonder of allure. I would definitely come back countless times.

How about you? Would you like to visit the place, too?
