The Science of Sleep: Understanding Its Vital Role in Health and Well-being

    No one can cheat nature because sleep is part of it, sleep is very essential to the body because it makes our body feel refreshed and makes our brain settle, without sleep people can weak and begin to see different symptoms of illness

    While sleeping our body's vitals function slowly and the brain gets time to recharge and function well, sleep serves as a way of loading airtime to our phone when the airtime is finished because without airtime there is no how you can make a call, that is how important sleep is to the human body.

    Scientists have analyzed the hour people need to sleep in a day so that the brain and other parts of the body can function well, 7-9 hours has been proven as the best time for an adult to sleep.

    I remember when I was in school and due to the exam period I was unable to sleep well because I was always reading at night, I developed migraine which landed me in the school clinic and I was admitted in the clinic for days that was the result of denying myself from proper sleeping.

    Sleeping comes in different ways, some people will sleep and not wake up again, in my country will believe the person was oppressed in the dream and it usually ends in spiritual power or demonic but while listening to one program I learned that when someone wakes up the first thing to do is open your eyes, then bring down your legs from the bed, sit for two to three minutes before you start to engage yourself in any activities, by doing this the brain would have relaxed enough to be able to process the activity of the day.

    Dreams are always as a result of sleeping, without proper sleep there is no how you can have a better dream but I do not really believe in dreams because I am not a dreaming type, the only dream that I had and came to pass was when I was little and I met myself in the Dreamland playing with my friends, then I excused myself to pee since I was pressed not knowing I was doing that on the bed, that is the only dream that does come to reality and it is so quick to come to pass.

    I remember the first day I wet the bed, it was due to my fantasy world in the Dreamland, as I woke up it felt like the world was crashing because I knew how frustrating it can be with my siblings around, I prayed never to have this kind of dream again.

    There are so many sicknesses that can be associated with not having enough sleep or not having a healthy sleep, a healthy sleep means not having the actual hours to sleep, like I said it can lead to migraine and this can destabilize the body.

    It is always good to sleep health, make use of the proper hour to rest your body, we are humans and without enough sleep our body will begin to malfunction.
