    It wasn't long before I stumbled up the historic R28 train in the park at The Strand in Reefton.

    Interestingly, I wasn't the only one keen on this train as I met a couple that stood admiring and reading about the history of the train.

    I had a chat with the couple. They are Kiwis, and the guy is clued up about the train, which he shared a bit more of the history with me, and I also chat about my Telecommunications job with him as he asked what brought me to Reefton.

    We are looking at one of the two Fairlie train in the world with the other in Henry Ford museum the States.
