Squirrel in Spring but still with winter fur

in voilk •  3 months ago

In early spring most of the squirrels still have their dark winter fur before they change their fur color slowly to brown when it is getting warmer and warmer. They are looking for food all over the cementary and some people leave them nuts and seeds. The Bird feeder is also a great spot for them to feast on some seeds that are usually ment for the birds. But because the squirrels are good climbers they are often able to climb up the bird feaders to feast on this food too. It is funny to watch them how fast they are moving from one tree to another or on the ground in the moss. Today it started to snow again but when it is getting warmer again in the next weeks I will definitely visit them once again for some more pictures.
