Hello Splinterlands community! Welcome to my Splinterlands card giveaway.
I didn't do too well in the recent Brawl and our guild also placed near the bottom of the standings. We earned some SPS and merits for our efforts so it's still good.
On the dailies, I got enough to upgrade my Riverboat Captain to level 2. I'm currently close to Silver II so hopefully I can get there and earn better rewards.
On Splinterlands news, I just saw from AfterSound Gaming youtube channel that the mobile app is going to be phased out. I had to check the date if this is an April fool's joke but unfortunately it's not. For a game wanting mass adoption, discontinuing a mobile app is a step in the wrong direction. After Gods Unchained successfully rolled out ther mobile app, Splinterlands is phasing out theirs.
While I do not use the mobile app to play, it can attract new players into the game. Just check out how many downloads Heartstone and Gods Unchained has. I believe the team needs to improve the mobile experience and not phase it out.
