Thousands of people from various districts and cities in Aceh, attended the Halal bihalal event at the residence of Member of Commission V of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), H Ruslan Daud (HRD) at the Meuligoe Resident Complex, Cot Gapu, Juang City, Bireuen, Thursday (11/ 4/2024).
The public and invited guests from various circles and elements began to attend HRD's house from 08.00 WIB. Some of them use cars and motorbikes. A queue of vehicles appeared to be snaking along the Medan-Banda Aceh national road in front of Meuligoe Residen.
Parking officers and security officers from the Bireuen Police Traffic Unit together with LLAJR officers from the Bireuen Transportation Service, worked extra hard to organize the guests' vehicles and also helped regulate the very busy traffic flow on the main roads in the Meuligoe area.
Meanwhile, invited guests and the public also queued at the dining table to taste various menus provided by the halal bihalal committee. The various elements of society consist of religious scholars, village heads, state officials, community leaders, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, farmers, traders, teachers, and various other professions.
Some of them came from a number of villages in Bireuen Regency, Lhokseumawe City, Central Aceh, Bener Meriah, North Aceh, East Aceh, Langsa, Aceh Tamiang, Pidie Jaya, Aceh Besar, and Banda Aceh.
On this occasion, tH Ruslan Daud expressed a thousand thanks to the entire community and invitees who had attended the halal bihalal at his residence. "With this halal bilhalal, we can increase our brotherhood and strengthen the relationship between us," said HRD.
Apart from that, HRD also invites the entire community to always maintain the brotherhood of our neighbors in everyday life. He said, even though there were different opinions and different choices in the last election, it did not become an obstacle to continuing to maintain togetherness and peace in society.
H Ruslan M Daud, member of Commission V DPR-RI and former Regent of Bireuen, stated that he was physically and mentally ready to run as a candidate for regent (Cabup) of Bireuen Regency, in the 2024 regional elections.
He gave this answer when responding to journalists on the sidelines of the Open House or Halal Bi Halal event taking place at his residence in the Meuligoe Resident complex, Gampong Cot Gapu, Kota Juang, Bireuen.
"If we ask about readiness to become a candidate for Regent of Bireuen in the 2024 regional elections, we have been campaigning for readiness for more than 7 years. The candidate for deputy regent has not yet been discussed, it will be determined later.
"If you are asked whether you will run as a candidate for Governor of Aceh, you will see what the benefits are and which one has the potential to win," he said. HRD said, from the calling of the soul and also being born and raised, having made friends here and having led Bireuen, so Bireuen must be saved and repaired. , he said.
At the halal bi halal event, HRD welcomed the arrival of thousands of guests and invitees who came one after another and were immediately greeted warmly, H Ruslan accompanied by his wife Hj Faridah and the organizing committee, then took selfies and tasted the various dishes that had been provided.
On the sidelines of welcoming guests, he said, the Halal Bi Halal event was held with the first aim of strengthening friendship, sharing with each other in the sense of conveying the problems or stories of the community.
Apart from that, the Halal Bihalal Eid al-Fitr 1445 H event held by H. Ruslan M. Daud ((HRD) at his residence, was used by some people to express their feelings (confide in) to the Member of the DPR RI Commission V from the National Awakening Party (PKB) faction.
On this occasion, HRD heard stories from various elements of society. They do not hesitate to share stories and also complain about their respective problems to HRD.
"Thank God, until this holiday, we are still given health and the opportunity to meet face to face with figures and various levels of society," said the Regent of Bireuen for the 2012-2017 period.
