It is with much affection that I send a special greeting to the entire Music Community and followers of Three Tune Tuesday, an initiative of @ablaze that has become one of my favorite moments of the week. I'm just a few days away from starting a concert tour, and that means many hours of planes, buses and possibly trains. My girl and I always have a lot to talk about even though we've been in a relationship for 7 years, but I'm sure I'll be unfaithful with my headphones on more than one occasion because listening to music is one of my passions since childhood.

Con mucho cariño envío un saludo especial a toda la Comunidad de Music y a los seguidores de Three Tune Tuesday, una iniciativa de @ablaze que se ha convertido en uno de los momentos favoritos de la semana. Me faltan pocos días para comenzar una gira de conciertos, y eso significa muchas horas de aviones, autobuses y posiblemente trenes. Mi chica y yo siempre tenemos mucho de que hablar aunque llevamos 7 años de relación, pero estoy seguro que le seré infiel con mis audífonos en más de una ocasión porque escuchar música es una de mis pasiones desde la infancia.

Beyond my preference for Shakira, obviously it's what I listen to the least at the moment when I sit down to delight myself with songs, since that world is totally explored, but it still plays almost every day in my life, especially when cleaning my house where I just need background music to make me sing, so really all music and musical genres will have their chance during these two weeks that I'll start on Sunday, but I don't know how lucky they will be, because Shakira's new album comes out on March 22nd 😅 and by the 23rd I must already know every single track, I will still make myself a recommendation of artists and albums that have caught my attention these last years and that I haven't really sat down to detail because of work and family adversities, I think the time has come to open a space in my life for them.

Más allá de mi preferencia por Shakira, evidentemente es lo que menos suelo escuchar en este momento cuando me siento a deleitarme con canciones, ya que ese mundo está totalmente explorado, pero igual suena casi todos los días en mi vida, sobretodo al momento de limpiar mi casa donde solo necesito música de fondo que me haga cantar, así que realmente toda la música y géneros musicales tendrán su oportunidad durante estas dos semanas que comenzaré el Domingo, pero no sé que tanta suerte tengan, porque el nuevo álbum de Shakira sale el 22 de Marzo 😅 y vaya que el 23 ya he de saberme cada uno de sus tracks, igual me haré a mí mismo una recomendación de artistas y álbumes que me han llamado la atención estos últimos años y que realmente no me he sentado a detallar por causa del trabajo y adversidades familiares, creo que ha llegado el momento de abrirles un espacio en mi vida.

I don't like Lasso's voice, it seems to me that she has a great singing instrument but she doesn't know how to use it, however I am not surprised by her success in this era where the voice is the least important thing to reach fame. Still Lasso released a very good album last year titled "Eva", and the songs that were promotional singles captivated me for their lyrics and for the pleasure of listening to pop music in Spanish in this era where everything is reggaeton and happy rhythms... Despite how much it has caught my attention I have wanted to listen to the whole album and life has not let me, I'm sure I will be obsessed with it even though it has already gone out of fashion.

No me gusta la voz de Lasso, me parece que tiene un gran instrumento para el canto pero no lo sabe usar, sin embargo no me extraña su éxito en esta era donde la voz es lo que menos importa para llegar a la fama. Aún así Lasso publicó un disco muy bueno el año pasado titulado "Eva", y las canciones que fueron sencillos promocionales me cautivaron por sus letras y por el placer de escuchar música pop en español en esta era donde todo es reggaetón y ritmos alegres... A pesar de lo mucho que me ha llamado la atención he querido escuchar el disco completo y la vida no me ha dejado, estoy seguro que me obsesionaré con el aunque ya haya pasado de moda.

I had the pleasure of appreciating Kany García's music live at the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas in 2022. I had already liked her music since the 2000's, but I really knew her songs thanks to Jhoxiris who is a follower of her work and plays her a lot here at home. The thing is that since that day I was amazed with her most famous songs, but I know that there is pure gold in those songs that don't become promotional singles, intense ballads and a pop in Spanish faithful to the characteristic sound of the style and away from the current reggaeton fashion. I want Kany to be more present in my daily life, so I'm already putting together my playlist to get lost in her compositions...

Tuve el placer de apreciar la música de Kany García en vivo en el Teatro Teresa Carreño en Caracas en el 2022. Su música ya me venía gustando desde la década de los 2000's, pero realmente me medio sabía sus canciones gracias a Jhoxiris que es seguidora de su trabajo y la pone mucho aquí en casa. El caso es que desde ese día quedé maravillado con sus canciones más famosas, pero sé que hay oro puro en esas canciones que no llegan a ser sencillos promocionales, baladas intensas y un pop en español fiel al sonido característico del estilo y alejado de la moda reggaetón de la actualidad. Quiero que Kany esté más presente en mi día a día, así que ya estoy armando mi playlist para perderme en sus composiciones...
