Hello, today is Buddhist holy day. I went to make merit at the temple. This morning I woke up at 4:00 a.m. in order to cook rice and make snacks to make merit at the temple, which is my regular routine on Buddhist holy days. I always go to make merit at the temple every day. Today I made sweet potato ordination curry with corn and sticky rice to make merit at the temple. At 7:00 a.m. at the temple, I will go to the temple and bring the food. Finished filling the cup with the sweets and setting it up in front of the divine being at the seated Buddha where the deacons would prepare and place a table to wait for the monk. When finished, I came to give alms to the monks, then poured water and put them in the alms bowls. After finishing, I went to pay my respects. Today there are quite a lot of people going to the temple. I also have pictures of Ananda standing and bowing down to the Lord Buddha on both sides.

Today I saw quite a lot of people going to make offerings. They would have ready-made offerings, but they would be cloth rather than utensils. Then there would be deacons who would come and prepare things like if we... When making offerings to the monks, they have them for us to worship, and then there are sticks that can be inserted to make merit, and there is a cabinet to put things in so that when paying debts to the monks, such as water and electricity bills, they also have a cabinet for us to be able to make merit and pay for water and electricity bills. Giving at the temple is like helping to make our lives have light. It has been a strategy since ancient times. In ancient times, people would go to the temple and help each other buy candles. In the past, when there was no electricity, we had to rely on candles. Sometimes in the beginning of Buddhist Lent, we will cast a lot of candles so that there will be light when going to church and buying Buddha amulets to pray and pray. This is the society in Thailand, in the countryside of Thailand.
