Trying Caesar salad with crispy chicken | Probando ensalada César con pollo crispy

Blessed day everyone, I wish you a day of good food and delicious desserts. This is my first time in the community and I come to tell you about a lunch experience and introduce you to a nice restaurant.

That day I left home very early to do many errands, the most important was to go to the appointment with my grandmother's doctor to deliver the results of some lab tests, among so many things I missed lunch time and at 4 pm I was already seeing blue and I felt faint, I still had people ahead of me in the office so I decided to go out to eat.

Bendecido día tengan todos, les deseo un día de buena comida y ricos postres. Esta es mi primera vez en la comunidad y vengo a contarles una experiencia con un almuerzo y presentarles un lindo restaurante.

Ese día salí muy temprano de casa hacer muchas diligencia, la más importante era acudir a la cita con el doctor de mi abuela para entregarle los resultados de unos exámenes de laboratorio, entre tantas cosas se me paso la hora del almuerzo y a las 4 de la tarde ya estaba viendo azul y me sentía desmayada, aún tenía personas por delante en el consultorio así que decidí salir a comer.

As that day I also ran errands for my brother he gave me the money for lunch, so I went to a nice place nearby where I had never eaten, when I looked at the menu I saw many delicious things hamburgers, french fries, tequeños, hot dogs, shawarmas, but this type of food provokes me in the evenings, I wanted something healthier for lunch so I went for the salads, there was the classic caesar salad, caesar with chicken and one that I had not tried the caesar salad with crispy chicken and in the advertising image it looked delicious.

I ordered this salad and didn't know what to pair it with and since I am a chocolate lover, I ordered a cold chocolate drink. When I was craving I didn't look at the price it was a bit expensive between the salad and the drink I paid 14 $ 😱, but when I requested it the waiter told me the cost I was surprised, but it was a gift, I had the money so I said to myself well I deserve it, it's a different day and if not I will never eat something in this place, sure it will be worth it.

Como ese día también le hice diligencias a mi hermano me regaló el dinero para el almuerzo, por eso me fui a un lugar cercano y bonito en el que nunca había comido, al mirar el menú vi muchas cosas ricas hamburguesas, papas fritas, tequeños, perros calientes, shawarmas, pero este tipo de comida me provoca es en las noches, yo quería algo para almorzar más saludable así que me deje llevar por las ensaladas, había la ensalada césar clásica, césar con pollo y una que no había probado la ensalada césar con pollo crispy y en la imagen de publicidad se veía deliciosa.

Solicité esta ensalada y no sabía con qué acompañarla y, como soy amante del chocolate, pedí una bebida fría de chocolate. Cuando me antoje no mire el precio fue algo costoso entre la ensalada y la bebida pague 14 $ 😱, pero al solicitarla el mesero me dijo el costo quedé sorprendida, pero era un regalo, tenía el dinero así que me dije bueno me lo merezco, es un día diferente y si no es así nunca comeré algo en este lugar, seguro valdrá la pena.

Happy to give me this gift I waited a long time, which made me think that they were preparing it and it was fresh, when they served it and put it on the table, I was fascinated with the presentation, it looked better than in advertising, very colorful, the most awaited moment had arrived, I was very hungry, thank goodness I remembered to take the pictures, I didn't know what to try first if it was the chicken or the salad and I started to eat, in the first bite of the chicken I didn't like it and it seemed very salty 😫, I kept eating to see if I could change my mind and I tried the salad and I didn't like it either, oh noo 😵‍💫😪😭 it couldn't be, I had to like it for that price, I had to find something tasty.

I threw sauces on it, mostly to take away the saltiness, but nothing improved my experience. It's not that it was bad or maybe because of the hunger I had that went to the background, I think I didn't like this kind of chicken and why it was too salty. With the merengada it was another thing, it was very tasty and I might as well have ordered two of these and that's it.

In the end I ate the third part and the rest I ordered to go. The good thing is that nothing was lost, because at home they ate it all.

Contenta de darme este regalo esperé un buen rato, lo que me hizo pensar que lo estaban preparando y era fresco, cuando lo sirvieron y pusieron en la mesa, quede fascinada con la presentación, se veía mejor que en la publicidad, muy colorido, había llegado el momento más esperado tenía mucha hambre, menos mal me recordé de tomar las fotos, no sabía que probar primero si el pollo o la ensalada y comencé a comer, en la primera mordida al pollo no me gustó además de parecerme muy salado 😫, seguí comiendo a ver si más adelante cambiaba de opinión y probé la ensalada y tampoco me gusto, óh noo 😵‍💫😪😭 no puede ser, tenía que gustarme por ese precio, algo sabroso tenía que encontrar.

Le eché salsas, más que todo para quitar el salado, pero nada mejoró mi experiencia. No es que estuviera mal o tal vez por el hambre que tenía eso pasó a segundo plano, creo que este tipo de pollo no me gustó y por qué estaba pasado de sal. Con la merengada fue otra cosa, estaba muy sabrosa y más vale que hubiese pedido dos de estas y ya.

Al final me comí la tercera parte y el resto lo pedí para llevar. Lo bueno es que no se perdió nada, porque en casa se lo comieron todo.

Conclusions

The restaurant is decorated very nice, it has inspirational phrases everywhere, you can see them in the black ribbon that decorates the glass, it has walls in different textures and warm light, music and television, that day it was empty and I only saw a couple having lunch and a gentleman who went to eat with his pet an old poodle dog, it caught my attention that they let people with pets in, but he seemed to be a regular customer and his dog very polite, I only observe his owner having lunch, we had a brief conversation, but I did not dare to take pictures of them.

About the food, I can say that it served its purpose to feed me, heh, heh, heh, because I was full. That plate was big enough for 3 people and I half liked it. It was a bittersweet experience, but like everything in life, we have to try it to know if we like it.

Conclusiones

El restaurante está decorado muy bonito, tiene frases inspiradoras por todas partes, se pueden ver en la cinta negra que decora el vidrio, tiene paredes en diferentes texturas y luz cálida, música y televisión, ese día estaba vacío y solo vi a una pareja almorzando y a un señor que fue a comer junto a su mascota un perrito poodle anciano, me llamó la atención que dejaran entrar personas con mascotas, pero parecía ser un cliente habitual y su perrito muy educado, solo observo a su dueño almorzando, tuvimos una breve conversación, pero no me atreví a tomarles fotos.

Sobre la comida, puedo decir que cumplió su propósito alimentarme, je, je, je, porque quedé llena. Ese plato era grande como para 3 personas y me gustó a medias. Fue una experiencia agridulce, pero como todo en la vida, tenemos que probarlo para saber si nos gusta.
