Todos conocemos por diversas fuentes, libros, películas, historia, entre otros, parte de lo que se vivió durante el oscurantismo, un término que se le da aún periodo conocido y recordado por su oscuridad religiosa (inquisición) durante este periodo algunos filosos comenzaron a proponer cambios, alegando que, el conocimiento solo podía ser iluminado por la razón, se considera que se vivió aproximadamente entre los años 476 al año 1000 DC.
Ahora bien, al ser una amante de los gatos, recuerdo esta época no precisamente por vivirla, sería imposible, pero la recuerdo por las consecuencias que trajo para los gatos y que a su vez origino la peste negra, al aumentar el número de ratas gracias a la disminución de los gatos y a esto por una acción del Papa Gregorio IX (1227- 1241). Durante su papado, emitió una bula papal en 1233, en ella relacionaba a los gatos con el diablo y compañeros de las brujas, por ello ordenó su exterminación en toda Europa.
Así, luego de esta época de cacería de brujas, torturas y más, donde se puede decir hubo una pausa en cuanto a libertad, pensamiento, ciencias, arte, medicina y más, le siguió el Renacimiento, el cual vino a renovar de manera profunda las ciencias, el arte y el pensamiento en general, este fue un vasto movimiento cultural que se produjo en Europa durante los siglos XV y XV y está ubicado entre la Edad Media o Medioevo, dentro de la cual se vivo el oscurantismo y la Edad Moderna.

Este periodo de la historia es reconocido por todos, estudiado y valorado por dar pasos grandes y porque durante sus años los mayores exponentes, de ese momento histórico, se dieron en el campo de las artes, pero también se renovaron las ciencias, tanto naturales como humanas.
La etapa final de la Edad Media fue marcada por la disminución del poder eclesiástico, debido a la Reforma protestante, lo cual posibilitó que las ideas del humanismo surgieran, estas determinaron una nueva concepción del hombre y posibilitó que se produjera esa transformación, dejando atrás muchas nociones, ideas y formas de pensar que tenían a la humanidad sumida en la oscuridad, estancadas.
El Renacimiento no se vivió como algo ordenado, no hubo un grupo, frente unido o coalición, para que se dieran estos cambios y a este periodo de la historia se le comenzó a llamar Renacimiento en el siglo XIX por un historiador de nombre Jules Michelet quien su vez lo tomo o rescato luego de ser usado en el siglo XVI por el arquitecto italiano Giorgio Vasari.

Ahora bien, que se vivo en esta época, que caracterizo a este movimiento, para mí destacan el rechazo al dogmatismo cristiano, lo que dio nacimiento al humanismo (se reemplazó la fe por la razón), se recuperó la tradición filosófica, artística y política de la Grecia y la Roma clásica, artes temáticas, descubrimientos científicos, entre otros.
En cuanto a artistas, hay tres nombres que hasta ahora resuenan en el mundo entero: Leonardo da Vinci, Miguel Ángel Buonarroti y Rafael Sanzio, quienes vivieron en lo que se denominó en el movimiento artístico el Renacimiento pleno, en el cual el auge fue la pintura y escultura. En cuanto a escritores, podemos mencionar a Nicolas Maquiavelo, Miguel de Cervantes y William Shakespeare.
Podría seguir, ya que este es un tema que disfrute mucho cuando era una estudiante de secundaria y recuerdo leer mucho al respecto cuando estudie educación artística e historia universal, ver en aquel entonces y todavía muchos programas relativos al tema y a personajes del momento, viene a mi mente especialmente una serie que dedicaron a la vida de Leonardo da Vinci que mencionan obras, personajes de la época y más.

En resumen, el Renacimiento fue un movimiento que, aunque no se llevó a cabo de forma organizada, de manera definitiva cambió la forma de contemplar en esencia el entorno del ser humano a través del arte, las ciencias y el pensamiento. This period of history is recognized by all, studied and valued for taking great steps and because during its years the greatest exponents, of that historical moment, were in the field of the arts, but also the sciences, both natural and human, were renewed.
The final stage of the Middle Ages was marked by the decline of ecclesiastical power, due to the Protestant Reformation, which made it possible for the ideas of humanism to emerge, which determined a new conception of man and made it possible for this transformation to take place, leaving behind many notions, ideas and ways of thinking that had plunged humanity into darkness and stagnation.
The Renaissance was not lived as something orderly, there was no group, united front or coalition, so that these changes took place and this period of history began to be called Renaissance in the nineteenth century by a historian named Jules Michelet who in turn took or rescued it after being used in the sixteenth century by the Italian architect Giorgio Vasari.
Now then, what was lived in this period, what characterized this movement, for me the rejection of Christian dogmatism stands out, which gave birth to humanism (faith was replaced by reason), the philosophical, artistic and political tradition of classical Greece and Rome was recovered, thematic arts, scientific discoveries, among others.
As for artists, there are three names that still resonate around the world: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo Buonarroti and Raphael Sanzio, who lived in what was called the full Renaissance in the artistic movement, in which painting and sculpture were at their peak. As for writers, we can mention Niccolo Machiavelli, Miguel de Cervantes and William Shakespeare.
I could go on, since this is a subject that I enjoyed a lot when I was a high school student and I remember reading a lot about it when I studied art education and universal history, watching at that time and still watching many programs related to the subject and characters of the time, especially a series dedicated to the life of Leonardo da Vinci comes to my mind that mentioned works, characters of the time and more.
In short, the Renaissance was a movement that, although not carried out in an organized way, definitely changed the way of contemplating in essence the environment of the human being through art, science and thought.
