In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.
After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: Hello: Ice Cube, Dr Dre, Mc Ren
Ten crack Commandments: The Notorius B.I.G
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Ten crack Commandments of the american artist The Notorius B.I.G. The artist I will talk about today, is not the first time I bring him in one of my publications. It is undeniable the influence that The Notorious B.I.G. has had on American hip-hop, he has become one of the most known artists of the genre. In my case, I have known him thanks to his rivalry with Tupac Shakur, who I think is a little better known in my country. Rivalry that led both artists to their respective deaths due to gang disputes. Songs like Hypnotize, Big Poppa, Juicy and Ten crack Commandments show what a great artist he was, it's a pity I couldn't have more songs neither from him nor from Tupac Shakur.
The Notorious B.I.G. (Chiristopher Wallace), was an American rapper from New York. He is considered one of the greatest exponents of hip-hop on the East Coast. In 1994, he released his debut album called “Ready to Die” which led him to success with hits such as “Juicy”, “Big Poppa” and “Gimme the Loot”. Due to the rivalry between the West Coast and East Coast, Biggie found himself in a rivalry with Tupac Shakur. In 1997, he was killed in a shooting in Los Angeles at the age of 24.
The song Ten Crack Commandments was released on his second and final album, Life Afther Death, released in 1997.
Before giving the winner of this night's drawing. The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
