    Hello everybody :)

After numerous sessions, i elected to introduce the "Rocks à La Carte" concept. This concept extends beyond mere stone collection, evolving into a tailored and immersive experience for aficionados of geology and mineralogy. This bespoke offering entails a meticulous curation of rocks and minerals, affording the chance to explore a diverse array of intricacies and nuances.

    Here is the catalogue:

The specimens to be included in this catalog were meticulously chosen from a diverse array of stones gathered on the mountain frequented during my walks. Through their diversity, they collectively offer a visual depiction of the geological features inherent to this region.
Today i present the third of the first column, one of the largest from this pack, Named "The Soliton" :)

    Let me present today’s model:
    Before moving onto the result...
    • My introductory thoughts about macro photography:

It's amazing how macros with their blurred background can result in such different images full of contrasts and textures especially with this kind of subjects.
In the world of photography, especially macro photography, there is a universe of things available to everyone, enabling totally different and original approaches.

Among the various possible techniques to shoot macros, this is perhaps the most affordable and effective technique for those who have a camera with removable lens.
We can simply remove the lens and reverse the direction, and by using an inverter ring it ends up being more comfortable and facilitates the process.

Let's now move onto the result:

To finish, i leave you with some considerations regarding these photo sessions:

Delving into these miniature objects through macro photography unveils a captivating realm where the minuscule assumes paramount significance, and the most exquisite details assume a central role. Immersing ourselves in the intricacies of these diminutive creations offers the opportunity to behold the allure of a realm often overlooked. Each photograph freezes a fleeting moment, highlighting the richness meticulously concealed within the minutiae of the natural world. From my perspective, the essence of macro photography lies in its ability to transform the commonplace into the extraordinary, presenting an intimate and enthralling perspective.
Layers of nuanced intricacies intertwine to form a vibrant portrayal of resilience and beauty, permeating even the most modest facets of existence. With each image, I unearth more than mere visual documentation, I encounter a tangible manifestation of the complexity and abundance that quietly inhabit our surroundings, frequently overlooked and easily disregarded.

The session is closed for today.
    Hope you like it :)
