"Injuries, Challenges, and Triumphs: FC Barcelona's Struggle for Success in the Midst of Adversity"

Last night FC Barcelona played at home against Osasuna in the weekday La Liga fixture. It was the first match for the players since Xavi announced he would be leaving the club at the end of the season so I was expecting to see a different type of Barcelona and to see more will and energy from the players last night. Barcelona started the match strong and I could see a lot of changes as the players were pressing high and quickly dropping back to win the ball from the opposition but after five minutes something happened to one of the Barcelona forwards on the pitch.

Ferran Torres went down and was holding his right thigh and immediately I knew it was over because that was a hamstring injury he picked up. Ferran Torres left the pitch in tears and I felt bad for him but his injury has cost Barcelona another attacking player and now Barcelona just has three attacks available for selection. Lewandoski, Lamine Yamal and Vitor Roque are the only attacks available for Xavi which is bad because the Champions League is around the corner and according to some sources Barcelona has to make it to the quarter-final of the UCL because it was already in the budget for the club and if that does not happen there would be a problem.

FC Barcelona's injury list keeps on increasing now we have Ter Stegen, Raphinha, Marcos Alonso, Balde, Sergio Roberto, Inigo Martinez, Gavi, Joao Felix and now Ferran Torres so three front attacks are out due to injury and I think is time the Barcelona fitness and medical team need to be asked a lot of questions because look at Dembele in PSG there has not been a report of the Frenchman picking up an injury since he arrived at PSG so what is the medical and fitness team doing this questions should be asked by Laporta and they need to be disbanded because there is no point having them around when our players keep picking up injuries for the past three seasons now.

It going to be incredible to see how Xavi utilize the attackers he has and my guess would be the normal style he likes to play which is four midfielders that would mean Fermin will be utilized more in the coming days but the problem is it Xavi plays four midfielders the only backup for substitution would be Romeu so I think it is a better time now to use Andres Christensen as DM since he played that role in the Denmark national team which he performed well in that position, so it's up to Xavi to make the call and there is no option to sign a player since the January transfer window is over even if there was an option Barca don't have the money to sign a player so it going to incredible to see how Xavi utilize what he has in the coming matches.

Barcelona beat Osasuna last night with just a goal and it was scored by Vitor Roque. Finally, Roque has gotten his first goal for Barcelona which is exciting and I am sure there is more to come from the Brazilian. So guys that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
