Como les he contado en otras ocasiones, trabajo como Personal Trainer en un Gym de mi localidad que se llama Mass Muscle Center, y hemos sido invitados a participar en la Competencia Femenina de Team a realizarse en el Palma Real Country Club. Mi jefa me invitó a formar parte del Team del Gym, por mi conocimiento y preparación.
Esto me emocionó mucho, formamos un Team con algunas clientas constantes que no tienen mucha preparación en Competencias, pero mi jefa nos dijo que es importante la experiencia sobre todo para aprender, motivarnos y apoyarnos, esto tal vez favorecerá que las chicas se motiven a entrenar con otro objetivo en mente, ya no solo para mejorar sus condiciones físicas, sino para atreverse a elevar sus metas a Competencias.
Sinceramente, me hubiese gustado mucho que fuese individual para poder medirme y chequear si mi preparación la estoy orientando bien, porque aunque no tengo en mente ningún evento deportivo especial, siempre tengo presente elevar mis marcas de repeticiones y sobre todo de levantamiento de pesas. Pero esta competencia que se presentó es en equipo, así que voy a apoyar a mi equipo en todo para dar lo mejor de nosotras y destacar o incluso ganar podium.
La Competencia es exigente y me saca de mi zona de confort porque como les digo es en equipo, y no estoy acostumbrada a trabajar o competir en equipo, y también porque incluye retos de CrossFit y esto es nuevo para mí. Mis jefes nos prepararon, pero como les digo trabajar y lograr puntos en equipo es algo muy incierto.
Hoy ya es la competencia, les estoy mostrando las bellas fotos de las camisas de nuestro uniforme, nos las entregaron ayer viernes en la noche y ya hoy estamos todos preparados para esta experiencia que les estaré compartiendo los resultados y los detalles. Deséenme suerte.
As I have told you on other occasions, I work as a Personal Trainer in a Gym in my town called Mass Muscle Center, and we have been invited to participate in the Women's Team Competition to be held at the Palma Real Country Club. My boss invited me to be part of the Gym Team, because of my knowledge and preparation.
This excited me a lot, we formed a Team with some constant clients who do not have much preparation in Competitions, but my boss told us that experience is important above all to learn, motivate and support us, this will perhaps help the girls to be motivated to train with another objective in mind, not only to improve their physical conditions, but to dare to raise their goals to Competencies.
Honestly, I would have really liked it to be individual so I could measure myself and check if I am directing my preparation well, because although I don't have any special sporting event in mind, I always keep in mind to raise my repetition marks and especially my weightlifting marks. But this competition that was presented is a team one, so I am going to support my team in everything to do our best and stand out or even win the podium.
The Competition is demanding and takes me out of my comfort zone because, as I say, it is a team, and I am not used to working or competing as a team, and also because it includes CrossFit challenges and this is new for me. My bosses prepared us, but as I say, working and achieving points as a team is something very uncertain.
