Okay, so I was on social media and what do you know?

The Rock himself released a huge 21-minute promo. This was before last week's fridge night Smackdown, and I guess I'm now bumbing into it.

I must say that whether or not this entire WrestleMania 40 storyline was planned, the Rock is going full steam ahead with it and I am here for it.

What he does in this promo is tell his side of the story between him and Roman Reigns as well as Cody Rhodes in 2024.

This is just typical of him turning things around his way. He says that there had been an implied agreement to let Reigns headline at WrestleMania 40, meaning that he even told Cody Rhodes to save their fight up for another time.

    And wait for it…Cody agreed!

The Rock spills the beans on the things he said to Rhodes that SmackDown episode in Birmingham where Cody seemed like he was abandoning his WrestleMania dreams.

He even proposed a match between himself and Reigns which will be tribute to them both because they lost their fathers late.

    How’s that for risk-taking?

But here’s the rub. The Rock is not pissed off that Cody changed his mind and decided to challenge Reigns himself. Instead, he is just disappointed that Cody did not give him a heads up and it seems like he might have disrespected certain Samoan wrestlers along the way(both Roman and Rock's Grandfathers).

And let’s not forget when The Rock gloated about owning legal rights to all of his catchphrases.

He even called out Seth Rollins and kept bringing up how the WWE-Netflix deal would never have happened if he had not been there.

How confident could a person be?

However, at the conclusion of his promo, there was one statement made by The Rock that shook things up:

    “fuck your story.”

    Yikes!

    This must hurt so much.😬

Now let me explain what I think about this.

As far as playing this game goes, The Rock has mastered it. He knows how to capture attention, start arguments, and keep fans coming back for more. Whether you love or hate him, you cannot deny that he is amongst the best in business when it comes to working the crowd.

As for me, I am looking forward to seeing how this storyline unfolds. WrestleMania 40 is shaping up to be one hell of a show and with The Rock involved; it’s bound to be electrifying.

    Bring it on!

    Or should I say

    Just Bring It!

    Thanks for reading, y'all!
