La flor en la roca / The flower in the rock

A rock came from the sky,
    it almost damaged my hair,
what a scare I had with the event,
    I almost lost my thoughts.

Strange gifts that come from above,
a rock with nothing drawn on it,
I'll remove the ribbon with which it came down.
and I'll keep it as a pleasant souvenir

    Sigo con mi descanso,
recostada en el césped recién podado,
me duermo, porque yo sí sé algo,
que cuando se duerme ocurren eventos mágicos.

Y como si lo hubiera adivinado,
    despierto y algo ha cambiado,
tras la roca se ven pétalos desordenados,
es una flor que está prosperando.

    I continue my rest,
lying on the freshly mowed lawn,
I fall asleep, because I do know something,
that magical events happen when you sleep.

And as if I had guessed it,
I wake up and something has changed,
behind the rock you can see disordered petals,
    it's a flower that's thriving.

quiere permanecer conmigo a toda hora,

    I help her out
and thank her for being here,
a selfie together makes us smile,
I say goodbye, it's time to get out of here.

But the flower doesn't want to stay alone
and climbs down from the rock,
it wants to stay with me all the time,
so I decide to stay forever in the area.
