I have several months watching day after day a program on #argentina TV called Big Brother. Well, it's really good and I invite you to watch it. It is about a group of people who enter a house with all its comforts, but they are disconnected from the outside world. They are there with no TV, no cell phone, they know absolutely nothing of the outside world. Each one, with his or her personality and one or another strategy, continues to advance in the house, while each week the viewers vote to continue or to remove a contestant from the house. Some, smarter than others, are building their space, winning over the public. Those who are called the supreme, to give them a name, who observe them day by day and see how they are playing inside the house. My point is that I totally relate one of the contestants to today's word. Her name is Katia , known as Tana, and simply at this point in the competition I see her as having lost her courage.
Tengo varios meses viendo día tras días un programa de la televisión #argentina que se llama Gran Hermano. Pues la verdad, está buenísimo y que los invito a verlo. Este trata de un grupo de personas que ingresan a una casa con todas sus comodidades, pero los desconectan del mundo exterior. Allí están sin televisión, sin celular, no saben absolutamente nada del mundo exterior. Cada quien, con su personalidad y una que otra estrategia, sigue avanzando en la casa, mientras que cada semana los televidentes votan porque siga o por sacar de la casa a un concursante. Unos, más inteligentes que otros, van construyendo su espacio, se van ganando al público. Quienes son llamados el supremo, por darle un nombre, quienes los observan día a día y ven cómo están jugando dentro de la casa. Al punto que voy es que relaciono totalmente a una de las concursantes con la palabra de hoy. Ella se llama Katia , conocida como la Tana, y sencillamente a esta altura de la competencia la veo que tiene el coraje perdido.
I remember when Katia entered the Big Brother house, she entered because of a contestant named Keyla. She was very depressed and simply wanted to leave the house, which is crazy, because to get in there there are many auditions to be done and there are thousands of people who would like to have the opportunity to be there and go on television. La Tana, as she is known, had a triumphant entrance, coming from a sector of Buenos Aires known as La Matanza, she arrived with her big motorcycle to the program. A girl full of dreams and illusions, with a lot of energy, who was said to be going to conquer the world. Everyone in the house was crazy to see how a new participant entered the house and more than that, to see the energy she brought to compete in it. Energy that, day after day, was lost, because she became distrustful. She feels that everything goes wrong, she has lost her courage in the house, although in the program it is seen that she fights with almost everyone, but it is obvious that she has no direction. The truth is that she has no strength to face the challenges and all those difficult situations, imposed by the other participants, who cleverly put her to the test and make her lose courage in the game.
Recuerdo que cuando ingresó Katia a la casa de Gran Hermano, lo hizo por una concursante de nombre Keyla. Ella estaba muy deprimida y sencillamente quería abandonar la casa, cosa que es de locos, porque para entrar allí hay que hacer muchas audiciones que hay que hacer y son miles de personas a las que gustaría tener la oportunidad de estar allí y salir por la televisión. La Tana, como se le conoce, tuvo una entrada triunfal, procedente de un sector de Buenos Aires conocido como la Matanza, llegó con su gran moto al programa. Una chica llena de sueños, e ilusiones, con mucha energía, que se decía que iba a conquistar el mundo. Todos en la casa quedaron locos, al ver cómo ingresaba una nueva participante y más que eso, ver la energía que esta traía para competir en la misma. Energía que, día tras día, se fue perdiendo, pues ella entró en desconfianza. Siente que todo le sale mal, ha perdido su valentía en la casa, aunque en el programa se ve que se pelea con casi todos, pero se le nota que no tiene un norte. La verdad es que se le nota que no tiene fuerzas para enfrentar los desafíos y todas esas situaciones difíciles, impuestas por los otros participantes, que de manera inteligente la ponen a prueba y hacen que vaya perdiendo coraje en el juego.The truth is that it is a very complicated game, you have to have a lot of intelligence, analyze personalities, expose them to the viewer, know how to play and not let the house come down on you. It is to live together and always be aware of everything that happens around you and Tana today has lost all that, she doesn't play anymore, she just stays in her room locked up. Personally, I think she is afraid of failure, she feels that everything goes wrong for her, she is defensive. Every time someone approaches her, she thinks it is to hurt her and she is totally victimizing herself. This change of personality that she has suffered inside the house, surely is because she has lost her courage, to the point that she is thinking of withdrawing from the contest. The Big Brother house is not for everyone, you have to have courage to be there. You are locked up for months, facing difficult situations, you have to deal with different personalities all day long.
La verdad es que es un juego bastante complicado, hay que tener mucha inteligencia, analizar personalidades, exponerlas ante el televidente, saber jugar y que la casa no se te venga encima. Es convivir y siempre estar atentos de todo lo que pasa a tu alrededor y la Tana hoy en día ha perdido todo eso, ya no juega, solo se queda en su cuarto encerrada. Quizás por todas esas experiencias traumáticas que ha vivido a hasta ahora, tanto fuera como dentro de la casa. En lo personal, pienso que ella tiene miedo al fracaso, siente que todo le sale mal, está como a la defensiva. Cada vez que alguien se le acerca, piensa que es para hacerle daño y totalmente se vive victimizando. Este cambio de personalidad que ha sufrido ella dentro de la casa, seguramente se debe a que tiene el coraje perdido, al punto que está pensando en retirarse del concurso. La casa de Gran hermano no es para todo el mundo, hay que tener valentía, para estar allí. Son meses encerrados, enfrentando situaciones difíciles, tiene que lidiar con diferentes personalidades todo el día.It is essential for her to look for support among her peers at home. That's life, full of challenges, that every time we get even more uphill. We just have to have a lot of patience, we have to have very positive courage, we have to get rid of all that negative energy that pretends to accompany us and let the good things come, analyze situations, overcome challenges and above all maintain an interpersonal relationship of good vibes, of good vibes.
Es esencial que ella busque, dentro de la casa, ese apoyo entre sus compañeros. Se le ve que la está pasando muy mal, porque a esto se le suma el tema del vicio a los cigarrillos, que en los actuales momentos no cuenta con ellos y eso le está jugando una mala pasada, la tiene desenfocada en el juego. Ella tiene que aprender de sus errores, debe de identificar cuál es la causa que la ha llevado al estado en que se encuentra actualmente, eso seguramente la ayudará a establecer objetivos y por ende se va a sentir mucho. Este juego es un claro ejemplo de nuestra vida cotidiana. Como dicen por ahí, cada cabeza es un mundo y es muy difícil de entender personalidades. Pero nada es imposible, muchas veces nos sentimos derrotados, sentimos que vamos caminando por un túnel en donde al frente simplemente tenemos una pared en blanco que no nos deja ver más allá. Así es la vida, llena de desafíos, que cada vez se nos pone aún más cuesta arriba. Solo hay que tener mucha paciencia, hay que tener el coraje muy positivo, hay que sacar dentro de nosotros toda esa energía negativa que pretende acompañarnos y dejar que llego lo bueno, analizar situaciones, superar desafíos y sobre todo mantener una relación interpersonal de buena vibra, de buena onda.
