It is Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) for July. For the past few months, I have been absent from this exciting activity on Hive due to some personal reasons but now, even though it's just a small amount of Hive Power Up it is my way of participating in an activity that could help the community.
As far as I can remember the first HPUD that I participated in January 2024 and my goal is to reach 3,000 HP this year even though I am only powering up a small amount and the rest of it will be through personal investments. In 2023 I failed to reach my goal of reaching 2,000 HP, although I gained 600 HP for 2023 all due to my organic participation with Hive.
My Journey with Hive HPUD
For the last months, I failed to participate and became inactive with the long-form blogging activities although I am very active with the short-form posting on DBuzz. I was able to participate in the first and second month in HPUD and now I'm back on track but it's already in the middle of the year.
For this year reaching 3,000 HP is indeed challenging for me, but I will try my best to power up, and with the options of investing in some Hive, the possibilities are endless. I was able to power up at least 20 HP for the July HPUD and hopefully, I can be more consistent in participating in the HPUD every month for the rest of 2024.
I am also interested in partnering with some active community here on Hive like the Rice Group for their initiative to promote Hive and to onboard more Filipino Hive users to become active members of the community.
Introducing Retzark
Aside from keeping myself busy with my day-to-day tasks with another company, as part of the DBuzz core team here in Davao City, we are also busy with the development and the highly-anticipated launching of @Retzark, a Web3 game built on top of the Hive blockchain.
Retzark is a play-to-earn game that takes place in the magical world of Arondaze. The game has an interesting story and a balance of simple and complex gameplay. The game is easy to start playing but hard to become good at, making it fun for everyone.
The newest Hive-based game Retzark is good for casual players serious gamers and those interested in blockchain technology. It is also a way of onboarding more users to the Web3 space. It is easy to play and the fact that is free to play, you can jump into the game and enjoy it without spending any money.
