Data Drain To Data Revenue

The digital world has shown us the potential for people to enrich their lives, but in reality, not many have yet discovered the know-how. I realized that most digital opportunities started with the internet. It is through the use of this tool that we can access everything in the digital world. When I use my Visa card, I access a machine to link with my bank remotely using the power of the internet.

It's the same thing when I access several kinds of e-commerce platforms, services, and use social media. So, the internet has become an integral aspect of almost every digital tool we use today. One such tool that I see taking a toll on us is our smartphones. These gadgets are with us almost everywhere we go, and when we wake up, it's about checking several notifications to see what's going on.

These notifications are from service providers who offer us services that we pay for through internet technology. Unknowingly to most people who have immersed themselves so much in the world of social media, they have become only consumers always buying data giving out their data for free. They may say they are also enjoying services offered on social platforms, but in reality, it's the user who is being used or exploited.

Creators of the platforms benefit more than consumers, and where consumer data and digital assets are used even more, then it's fair that they have their equal share smartphones alone could earn lots of people valuable data credits instead of draining their pockets. This is how smart people access the Internet technology today for their benefits; today. In most African countries, internet data is very expensive.

This could be a hindrance to many young people who could explore potential opportunities online, including jobs, education, and connecting with the global community. But I think with the right insight, they could provide a solution to this themselves. These days, everyone wants to stay online for most of their time because that's where they get entertained, socialize, access information, and link up with others with just a click. In today's digital world, staying connected is super important, right?

What if people began to look for ways by which their data usage could be translated back into their wallet? I guess that would be the game-changer and would be like a win-win for all, both internet providers and users. In the end, it wouldn't just be about using the internet for exploration but also about cutting costs or making a recouping back some cash. For those of us on Hive or some rewarding platforms, we already know how it isn't just using the internet but making us users who profit from our data usage.

So even though people could spend much on data, promoting and enriching the services of internet providers or service providers, we could reap back the lost funds, provided we are using the internet right. With social media that actually pays or rewards, people can begin effective engagements that could help cut down internet expenses that they always have to cover. But this all begins with insight into how our digital economy now works. People, especially young people who make extensive use of their time online, need to learn the ins and outs of how they can function effectively in the digital economy.
