The letters of the alphabet
They run out in my mind
Along with the last stanzas
Of my hot existence
I close my eyes and whisper
The last words that remain
In my longing soul
And now it's silent
I'm coming to the Epilogue
Of the book of my life,
A story so intense
That has been my company.
Let the reader know that in every line
I put my heart and my essence,
that each letter was a seed
that germinated with patience.
but everything has an end
