What had been your experience in wild and modern formats?

Greetings friends!

I was playing in wild format earlier before splinterlands demanded fee for playing in that format. I tried again to play in wild format. For this I paid the fee and found that I was constantly being defeated. Rewards were very low in wild format compared to modern format. So, I found it is not profitable to pay the fee. What had been your experience in both the formats?

I am earning more in wild format.
