🦉 The common buzzard (Buteo buteo)

    • Buteo lat .: buteo buzzard

I don’t know exactly when these birds arrive. One thing I can say is that I always meet them no earlier than July. It is likely that they do not nest in these places, but simply fly in with their children to educate and feed them. This place is in a deep forest where there are many old and dead trees, and nearby there is a small open area, a lawn, this is important.

It is in open spaces that these birds catch rodents.
And every year I see two buzzards flying over these places looking for prey. And one or two teenagers are sitting nearby on a tree and screaming, waiting for their parents with food.
