20 Days in Mariupol by Mstyslav Chernov | 2023 |

The rawness of the images did not affect me because I am a nurse and after so many years of service, the unusual becomes everyday, especially in my country where hospitals are saturated, sometimes there are no medicines for their care, there are no beds, the mortality rate is high and we are not at war.

Jeanne du Barry: Marcando la Historia

I want to emphasize that when I talk about chemistry between the actors and their characters, I am not referring to the sexual approach (as an example of this is the chemistry seen between Pitt and Jolie in Mr. and Mrs. Smith), rather I am referring to the characters being played with grace, making personal, unique and tangible connection, which allowed everything to flow naturally and not look forced.

But this is something that is not far from reality, the population is currently closely linked to the internet, most of us are addicted to being here and doing silly things that at first seem harmless but have their risks, there are also underage. It must be admitted that social media today are dangerous and many people seem to have no idea of the dangers, I would not doubt if something like this becomes a reality in the not too distant future. If nowadays people do stupid things for free, I don't want to imagine what they will do for a couple of dollars. It is a good movie to watch with the intention of reflecting and being more careful and responsible in this cyber world.

Dumb Money | "I like the stock"

More than a week later I watched Ready Player One again and I couldn't stop comparing it to this movie, which is a very absurd thing to do, but if you think like me, you will surely understand my reasons for doing so. In Ready Player One, you know they are in a futuristic world playing for the jackpot of a virtual reality game, and here they are buying and selling in the Stock Market, so there should be nothing that could unite these two movies.

Extraction 2020 Film Review - Mercenaries who save the son of the biggest drug dealer in India

This is really a very good film, there is no room for me to say this film is bad, starting from the storyline, the acting of the actors, the realistic editing to the choice of locations that look very real make this film very perfect and very exciting to watch.

    MOVIE REVIEW: “Bug” (2006)

The narrative has a dark, efficient and engaging development. Even though the pace is somewhat slow at times, the ends justify the means when the script unleashes its full dramatic potential focused on a psychological plot of frightening proportions. The dynamic between Ashley Judd and Michael Shannon is excellent. Both manage to build great characters throughout the movie, and have very interesting dramatic conflicts. The presence of Harry Connick Jr. ends up being disposable, because his character ends up not being explored as well.

[Movie review] [Eng | Esp] Hidden Figures

The characters do a good job both individually and because of the fight they face, the 3 protagonists have a good development because they show different facets related to their fight and the pursuit of their objectives, this whole group being what makes them feel very human qualities and a well-executed representation of the experiences of these people, all of which makes it possible to empathize with them since they have a good job that makes them feel real.

Hablemos de: El pianista | Let's talk about: The pianist

This film is a very good film in every cinematographic sense, the soundtrack is splendid being at the hand of Wojciech Kilar, but what I must emphasize is the photography which was in charge of Paweł Edelman, showing excellent and very well achieved shots of how the environment is deteriorating along with Szpilman himself. Being based on a true story that narrates the ordeal that Wladyslaw Szpilman had to go through, it touches deeper fibers. Adrien Brody's performance is undoubtedly magnificent, he shows us the pain and anguish of the pianist in a way that you feel it too and empathize with him, totally deserved the Oscar. It is a raw story that shows all that the Jews in Poland had to go through during the German invasion, how they were tortured and murdered in the cruelest possible ways, how they were dehumanized and treated with the utmost contempt. However, it also shows us how among so much chaos and evil there can be some nobility, embodied in Honsenfeld who felt compassion for Szpilman and helped him to survive. A fascinating story of survival, reflection, endurance and bravery, without showing a hero, but someone who did everything possible to stay on his feet with the help of someone who showed kindness to him, I consider it one of the best films about the Second World War.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑻𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒔 𝑰𝒏 "𝑨 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒀𝒐𝒖" Series Review

I'll recommend this series to any who enjoys time travels and twists, it has a whole lot of it. The romance is there too but they seem to focus more on unravelling hidden crime and past situations than the romance part. I'll give the series a 7/10 because I feel the twists were way to complex to understand. Like I had to watch up to the second episode before I got a hang of what the series is really about.

[ESP-ENG] Film Review: Anatomy of a fall | A story full of threads to be pulled together.

"Anatomy of a Fall" is not content to follow the clichés of the genre. Justine Triet uses the thriller as a vehicle to explore deeper themes, such as the relationship between couples, motherhood and emotional upheaval. Through her clever and surprising plot twists, the director questions social expectations and raises difficult questions about modern life. Triet's ability to maintain suspense and tension in every scene is impressive. The film immerses us in a world full of intrigue and revelations, keeping us glued to the screen until the very last moment. The editing style also deserves recognition, as it guides the viewer through different perspectives and times, challenging the idea of a single absolute truth.
