Today I will like to share with you all how I made this beautiful and sexy gown for my Aunty mother in law.
The last time my Aunty bought already made dress for her from the market she complained that she didn’t like the neck and the sleeve is too long , so she is this kind of person who does not like long sleeve and she doesn’t like open neck.
My Aunty already told me all this i then made this style for her with the 4 trouser yard of vintage material my Aunty bought she told me to make any style of my choice and then I should make two pieces for her too which is shirt and trouser that she will like to wear same material with her mother in-law.
The cutting process is very simple I post the short gown of this styles last week but with different neckline I folded the material into 4 then get cut together with the sleeve length after that I measure 16” from shoulder to the waistline then I join both side of the gown together and I created a casing for the loop at the waistline then I inserted the long strip of material that I sew .
The back neckline is 3” width and 1” length and the front neckline is 3” width and 3” length then I slit the front neckline then cut out 2” width of material and long enough for the neck band .
After sewing I iron it well and the gown came out stunning and beautiful 😻😍💕 and when it was delivered to her I was told she love the dress .
