En ocasiones no somos conscientes de la magnitud que trae consigo una pequeña determinación y cambio en nuestra vida; subestimamos el tamaño de nuestro deseo, sin saber el fondo subconsciente de todo ello, todo lo que puede remover generando grandes consecuencias. ¿Por qué se genera tanto caos cuando nuestra intensión de vida es tan solo cambiar un poco la perspectiva automática que hemos arrastrado por años? Mientras más aferramos en la mente con la nueva realidad futura que queremos construir, la vida parece solo darnos inconsistencia "extrañas". Un agotamiento de energía en muchos momentos desgasta y nos cuenta entender el camino que hemos decidido tomar para un nuevo capítulo de nuestra vida.
Sometimes we are not aware of the magnitude that brings a small determination and change in our life; we underestimate the size of our desire, without knowing the subconscious background of it all, all that it can remove generating great consequences. Why so much chaos is generated when our intention in life is just to change a little the automatic perspective that we have dragged for years? The more we cling in the mind with the new future reality we want to build, life seems only to give us "strange" inconsistencies. A depletion of energy in many moments wears us down and makes it difficult for us to understand the path we have decided to take for a new chapter of our life.
Una nueva realidad solo es posible construirla con una paz interna que desconocemos, el deseo de cambiar el presente desde nuestra visión futura crea un caos. Evolucionar y crecer como personas no permite deudas del pasado. Si la simple decisión de querer cambiar la perspectiva de pensamiento genera una revuelta gigante, trayéndonos el pasado de vuelta sin razón aparente, deja mucho para pensar; es necesario revisar lo que está pasando en nuestro interior, algo invisible se está manifestando y no lo estamos viendo.
A new reality can only be built with an inner peace that we do not know, the desire to change the present from our future vision creates chaos. To evolve and grow as people does not allow debts of the past. If the simple decision of wanting to change the perspective of thought generates a giant revolt, bringing the past back to us for no apparent reason, it leaves much to think about; it is necessary to review what is going on inside us, something invisible is manifesting and we are not seeing it.
Reflexionar el mundo de una manera distinta es disrupción mental al extremo. Parece un ejercicio fácil de llevar, sin embargo, cambiar nuestra forma de pensar y cuestionar todas nuestras creencias de muchas cosas es una tarea elevada que implica compromiso y respeto propio. Sostener esa energía desconocida, que nos beneficia, es un complejo ejercicio en nuestro pecho, lleno de incertidumbre. La paz tiene su precio. En muchos momentos la vida nos da un impulso gigante, sin embargo, eso trae consigo un desbalance que en algún momento la vida misma nos lo hace corregir. Es en ese momento donde la vida nos lleva a lo más profundo de nosotros, una oscuridad que desespera, que abraza el anhelo de conseguir una llama que ilumine lo más profundo de nuestro interior.
Reflecting the world in a different way is mental disruption to the extreme. It seems an easy exercise to take, however, changing our way of thinking and questioning all our beliefs of many things is a lofty task that involves commitment and self-respect. Holding that unknown energy, which benefits us, is a complex exercise in our chest, full of uncertainty. Peace has its price. In many moments life gives us a giant impulse, however, that brings with it an imbalance that at some point life itself makes us correct. It is at that moment where life takes us to the deepest part of us, a darkness that despairs, that embraces the longing to get a flame that illuminates the deepest part of our interior.
El descubrimiento interno nos lleva de una cosa a otra y el ejercicio no parece terminar, entonces, ¿Qué tan grande se convierte la deuda que tenemos que pagar para lograr una paz real y verdadera? A pesar de que son momentos de penumbra, la certeza de que estamos alcanzando nuestra gema más preciada poderosa no se aparta de nuestro corazón. Esa certeza es nuestro gran cable de conexión con lo que verdaderamente somos, nos aferramos a ella con confianza de que el mejor camino es el que transitamos para destrabar la realidad presente y volcarnos con vehemencia hacia la nueva realidad que queremos.
The inner discovery takes us from one thing to another and the exercise does not seem to end, so how big becomes the debt we have to pay to achieve real and true peace? Even though these are moments of gloom, the certainty that we are reaching for our most precious and powerful gem does not leave our heart. That certainty is our great cable of connection with what we truly are, we cling to it with confidence that the best path is the one we travel to unlock the present reality and turn with vehemence towards the new reality we want.
Cuestionar cada pensamiento es hermoso, nos hace salir de la caja emocional en la que vivimos día a día de forma automática e inconsciente. El silencio es un amigo fiel que nos colabora con fervor y cariño. ¿Cómo se involucra la fotografía con este estado mental? ¿Nos hace ver de manera distinta nuestros objetivos o es solo un sentimiento que lo proyectamos a la imagen?
Esta es mi propuesta para el reto #monomad. Un ejercicio fotográfico de reflexión interna. Las fotos han sido capturadas durante una caminata reflexiva en la Ciudad de Duitama, Colombia. Usé la cámara de un teléfono Motorola g22, editadas en Silver Efex Pro con Adobe Lightroom.
Questioning every thought is beautiful, it makes us get out of the emotional box in which we live day by day in an automatic and unconscious way. Silence is a faithful friend that collaborates us with fervor and affection. How does photography get involved with this state of mind? Does it make us see our goals differently or is it just a feeling that we project it to the image?
This is my proposal for the #monomad challenge. A photographic exercise of internal reflection. The photos have been captured during a reflective walk in the city of Duitama, Colombia. I used the camera of a Motorola g22 phone, edited in Silver Efex Pro with Adobe Lightroom.
