Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "EVEN STEVENS" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the ruleset of the game, Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles. I used my account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Silver league of the Wild Format. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly examine the game's Ruleset.

Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles. There are no special tricks for this ruleset, but having an idea of the mana points of a few monsters helps in predicting what your opponent can and cannot use.

    Summoner:

I chose the "TARSA summoner". It was a 17-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the TARSA summoner so that my monsters would have an increase in health and melee attack damage. I included the Efreet Elder monster so that with its last-stand ability it can increase in stats. My team lineup comprised the following; Scorch Fiend, Magi of Chaos, and Efreet Elder.

    1st Position:

Scorch Fiend, this card has no special ability. It is a 0-mana monster with a speed of 2, 1 melee attack damage, and 1 health with 0 armor protection.

    Round 1:

First of all monsters took their effect from the summoner by an extra magic attack damage to all my monsters. My opponent's lineup comprised three monsters including the Cursed Windeku, Xenith Archer, and Ravenhood Warden.

In the first round, the Efreet Elder monster attacked my opponent followed by an attack from Cursed Windeku which was able to eliminate my first monster in the lineup. The Magi of Chaos monster also attacked after which the remaining monsters in my opponent's lineup attacked. At the end of the round, I one of my monsters was eliminated.

    Round 2:

In this round, the Efreet Elder monster attacked first with a magic attack after which Cursed Windeku followed. Magi of Chaos also attacked before it was eliminated from my team as well.

The Ravenhood Warden monster eliminated my Magi of Chaos monster. At the end of the round, I was left with the last monster which increased in speed due to the last-stand ability.

    Round 3 to 11:

In this round, my monster only attacked and inflicted one damage after which my opponent's monster had a lot of missed attacks.

At the end of the eleventh round, I emerged victorious with just one health left on Efreet Elder monster.

This was how my battle went and I won it with ease. I think the selection of my cards especially going in with magic cards was a great idea.

Thank you all for your time and attention for going through my post. A link to my battle is provided here Battle Link
