My bullet journal for March was very colorful and I was enjoying how much I can use my colorful pens and not be afraid that it would look "out of theme" lol. Color coding the tasks and stuff also makes me see/read them easier since I can easily group them in my mind.
For April, of course I was late to make it as usual since I prioritized some other things which I will be able to talk about in next posts or so. Anyway... I miss using my black gel pens cos they're nice to use and I also want to have a more simple theme for this month since I have to rush making it. So I have chosen a vintage theme for April. :D
I usually print stuff to use as stickers for my theme but this time I have enough vintage-themed stationery that I didn't have to do that. I have papers and washi tapes that I haven't used yet so I am excited to use them for this month.
In my previous months, I would have one big spread just saying "January" or "February" and I realized that costs too much since I have to use two pages. It didn't make sense for me anymore haha since I also have limited notebook. This time around, I just put the month and calendar for one page and the habit tracker on the other. It saves me so much space. :D
I also have alphabet stamps, month stamps, and days of the week stamps which I am now using and it was so fun using them. It feels and looks like I did it with my typewriter which also fits my vintage (okay maybe vintage is not the right term but you get what I mean haha) theme. Also it's so convenient that I have that empty calendar squares as a stamp which I used for the habit tracker. All of these supplies I bought a few months ago when I was obsessed with it lol.
I went straight to this spread since I put the brain dump page somewhere else. :D Same layout as my previous months... The familiarity makes it easier for me to remember that this spread exist and also so I would use them efficiently.
The "April" is also a stamp but I just wrote on top of it with black marker too since the stamping material couldn't hold much ink.
Then start immediately with weekly. I have noticed that there are times that I don't use the whole box and would only write a few stuff (I know, I've been trying to be consistent lol) so I wanted to make the task box smaller. I also wanted to record some of the effects of a medicine that I'm currently taking at the moment so I just decided to separate the daily boxes into two so I can put those there.
You can see there are a lot of crooked stamps and some edges of the stamps that aren't supposed to be there but honestly I like it. I also did this whole thing in just 4 hours and I wasn't afraid of the mistakes or the "imperfections" but I was just chill about it.
I also love those stickers. I didn't print them at all. I just had them here. :D
And by the end of the week, I have those reflections and brain dump page.
I like the theme so much and I love that I didn't even overthink it. It was made on a rush mode but not with my mediocre mode if you know what I mean. This is what I need... to be able to make mistakes and just accept it and not worry about those tiny unimportant things.
I hope you like this theme as well!
