Happy Independence Day to all of you in the USA! The 4th of July is a holiday in the United States celebrating the ratification of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. There are plenty of fun activities in communities all around the country and at the end of the day there are usually fireworks displays. If you are doing your own fireworks at home please be safe and don't lose any eyes or fingers!
For those interested in competitive eating every year there is the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on Coney Island, New York. Every July 4th contestants try to eat the most hot dogs possible in ten minutes. The record for men was set by Joey Chestnut eating 62 hot dogs in 2023 and for women set by Miki Sudo 39.5 hot dogs also in 2023. Personally I think they're insane to do it, but everyone needs a hobby!

I plan to spend most of the day relaxing and watch some fireworks in the evening. There is a display every year close to where I live so I don't even have to leave home to enjoy it!

Anyone can buy tickets and enter and if you're lucky win one or more of the prizes. Tickets cost 4 Hive a piece or 30 PRECIOUS tokens if you are holding any. It's always a lot of fun and helps the #silvergoldstackers community to raise funds. There are some really nice prizes donated by community members that are up for grabs this time around!
