When a heavy fog rolled into Southern Ontario over the weekend I knew I had to visit an abandoned location to use it for a shoot! After a little bit of thought I decided to come to an old farm house that I had shot in the past. The heavy overgrowth and isolation would be great!
I wish that I had some information about the house/property but unfortunately just like my last visit, I came up dry in my research. I can't find anything about it and even on google maps street view it looks the same now as it did in 2007 (last street view picture available).
As I approached the property, the first thing I saw was that the driveway had heavy use recently. I worried that it had been demolished while I walked up the very long driveway. Thankfully it hadn't been, tractors for nearby farm fields have been using the driveway for access. Which is not surprising seeing that the house is in Hannon Ont. a town that mainly is farms.
The exterior with the fog gave a great aesthetic! and after exploring the inside of the house, it was just as incredible in the dark! Even got to do a little light painting with it and a light trail shot when I got back to the road.
Exterior night and light painting:
The interior looked to be the exact same as the last time that I explored it. Very run down, decaying and covered in graffiti.

On it's own the house is already a great explore! But the added fog made for a great evening/night of shooting!
